    Tuesday morning lounge

    Good morning all from 50f and overcast N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn has signaled READY with Railbender blend. The special is biscuits and gravy. Oatmeal is gurgling away. All other beverages at the end of the line.

    Not much going on here, finished another pair of turnouts last night. My ties are looking good, with the concoction I put together. They might 'dry out' for use by next Spring.

    More of the same today.

    So much for sports "experts"!

    Good morning, Jim and crew. Tidewater Virginia is having another day in the mid 80's. I'm going for a walk shortly.

    Not much going on here either, Jim. I've been messing with some drawings and I'm ready to do some cutting today.

      Good morning Jim, George, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jim. And with the coffee. We just have to get that Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

      70 degrees, and light rain here in Rhode Island today.

      Maybe posting some more update on my project today.

        Good morning to the entire crew. It is 54 degrees and heading to the upper 60's under sunny skies here in S.E. Michigan.

        Plans are to mow the lawn this morning. At noon we have a contractor coming to give an estimate on replacing our two sliding doors and one double window that lets plenty of cold air in come winter.

        A trip to Home Depot for some pink foam this afternoon.

            Jim, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.

            A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 81.

            Having lunch with Jerry and Diane.
            A trip to the bank and UPS afterward.

              Cooler out and there's a ball of fire in the sky this morning......

              Oatmeal is gurgling away
              As long as it does not achieve any measurable level of sentience and crawl out of the pot, we'll probably be safe.

              Coffee x's 2 and 1/2 a bagel, and I'm still just a slug......maybe some energy transfer process will come about eventually - got another 150 nbw's to put into the other side of the trolley body.......maybe some of those chocolate peanut butter pancakes,

              Did do a little pruning yesterday just before the rains arrived - the remaining broom plant is way too big.....and while I hate to take it out, it's probably past time.....
              Probably should mow the front lawn, too. Meh......


              So it goes...
              In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Ours is a generation when dogs howl and the skin crawls on the skull with its beast's foreboding.

                "Oatmeal is gurgling away" Actually oatmeal should only be used for making cookies, not bathing in a pot. Not a fan of gruel either. At least I'VE KEPT THAT OFF THE MENU.

                Oatmeal is another good excuse to eat maple syrup. (butter, milk and syrup, stir well.)

              Mornin' All!

              64, headed to 72 or so under a considerable amount of off-and-on leakage here in the northern mitten today. This is all out of the north and will presumably loop around to hammer Bruce & Co. later on. It's also, as my Pogo friends have announced, Friday the Thirteenth Week, although Friday the Thirteenth is on Tuesday this month, so be extra careful!

              With luck and some moderating of the leakage, I may be able to continue painting some new fascias in the garage, although I probably should be haunting the computer store to get them to install stuff that should have been installed when I bought the machine. This "Brave New World" stuff is tiresome at best.

                Bright sun and cool in southern Michigan. Was 430 at 0530. Going to 70 maybe.

                Corned Beef to cook…late start today….

                No sense to the oatmeal, yet, Martin. My bowl was Goldie Lock’s, jussst right!

                Later all. Acres of grass await…still be there tomorrow is other things intrude.
