  • Wednesday Morning Lounge

Good morning from a very foggy S.E. Michigan. Temps should get into the low 80's later today.

Breakfast is quick: some Zucchini Bread, a fruit bowl, and plenty of Turntable Blend Coffee.

Bonnie woke up with no fever - first time in three days. Her head is socked in with a good head cold and the sore throat is still there.

    I am still feeling fine.

Some quick outdoor activities and then some reading and perhaps modeling is planned.

    What is on your agenda?

    Good morning everyone.

Bruce, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope your wife is back to 100% soon.

Another nice day with sunshine and temps in the mid 80's.

Couple of errands to run this morning.
One of which is getting a passport.
Afternoon will be spent loading the van and heading to the flea market tomorrow.

    Have a great day everyone.
Follow along as my dog and I travel the country in our van.

Good morning Bruce and the incoming crew, thanks for opening and the coffee. Slept in this morning as I get ready for our trip North to Grand Rapids for a couple of days. Big quilt contest and display that Donna wanted to see, and I'm the driver.

I enjoy see the hand craftsmanship (craftpersons ship?) that is displayed.

      Ready to roll.

      Have a Super day!

Good morning. Thanks for opening, Bruce.

I got a lot accomplished at the club yesterday. I ordered some modeling supplies yesterday, so my current project at home is on hold until they arrive.

Another nice day today. We will probably walk the rail trail, and do errands. Have to take care of a tire, for one thing.

        Have a good one.

          Mornin' All!!

66, headed for 82 and "Fair" here in the northern mitten today. I'd say it's "Very nice" out there!

Best wishes to Bonnie for a quick, complete recovery! Bruce, ya gotta make sure you don't "share'" the festivities....

Son Two and Grands have returned to Maine just in time for a much-needed deluge, and I now have newly-identified track issues to go fix. Great visit, but I'm still trying to get my head around the reality that I have started my 75th trip around the sun.... Lots of errands today, then track.

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Good morning Bruce, Rick, Jim, Mike, Pete, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Bruce. We just have to get that Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

66 degrees, and cloudy here in Rhode Island today.

Bruce, I hope Bonnie gets to feeling better soon.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Sun and beautiful day upon us again, 50s going to bounce around the 8-0 late in the day, a couple more like it in the forecast. There were a minor pop up or two in the area yesterday, the Doll hit a 10 spotter, about 10 wet spots on the windscreen, she passed thru about 5 miles West coming home from the store.

Working outside or in the shop are the plan for today. Try to keep an easy pace.

Everyone have a good day, best to Bonnie, our daughter just climbed out of her bunker yesterday after 10 days of self quarantine in her room at home as of yesterday. SIL recovered inn4-5 days.

Enjoy your trip to GR, Jim. Traffic is nuts there this summer.

            Be well everyone.

Good morning, Bruce and crew. We just finished a walk in 70° weather. Later we're going up to our son's house at Lake Anna. Our granddaughter, her husband and our great grandson are coming down from Philadelphia.

              Happy Birthday, Pete.

I hope Bonnie is feeling better soon. Covid symptoms are all over the place. I only felt bad one day, Pat several days.

              Next stop Costco.....

No 'training' for me today. I have to do some cooking for a pot-luck lunch, then head into Boston late afternoon for a local class reunion. One classmate lives in Australia, he's back in the states to hand his kid off to our college.

                  Morning all and all others,

Extended family house guests are now in the Keys for a few days. This frees me up for some layout work. They'll be back late this Friday and leave early Sunday morning.

I have a few more pole lights to install around the coaling station area. Later, Pam and I will have a late lunch early dinner date.

                  Have a great day ya'll.

Shuffling paper and all today - yesterday was an unplanned exercise day - neighbor had a BIG white oak taken down so I snagged enough for 2023; just have to cut it to length and split it - health club dues are paid! And while I was at it I got a quote from the crew to take down the large red oak leaning over our garage so there's my firewood for 2024 and onward.

Got a lunch thing today, but that's the extent of my excitement, I think.

                    So it goes....

In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Ours is a generation when dogs howl and the skin crawls on the skull with its beast's foreboding.

Glad Bonnie is feeling better. #3 son got nailed with some new variation of the Chinese virus that put him down about 10 days. Fully Vax'ed and Boosted.
