  • Tuesday morning lounge

Good morning crew, readers, and lurkers from a cool 59f and sunny N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn has signaled READY with Dispatcher's blend. The special is a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. Oatmeal pot is fresh, and all other drinks at the end of the line.

I reworked about 6 of those damaged signal masts yesterday until my eyes started crossing and my hands had grown some extra thumbs Compared to the dozen I scratchbuilt, they are a bit oversized. They come out at 28' from the ground to the top of the backboard. Mine are at 19 feet. The backboards are a wee bit large as well. I'll place towards the back of the layout and they'll fade into the perspective. At least they now all light up properly. I also filled the sprayer up with a Roundup clone and sprayed around the base of the driveway trees and around the shop and barn. With all the rain we've had this Summer, it is a jungle out there.

I think I'll tackle another 6 of those 'traffic lights' today, while I wait for the rail I ordered to arrive. Plenty to do, that's for sure!

    Have a Super day!

Plain old bagel and 2 cups of coffee...........sigh.

Humid but not hot........yet. Might have to push the mower about the one side of the house that I've ignored for too many weeks............

    Errands, maybe, or not.

Spent yesterday in my basement office......retirement? I'm doing it wrong. NMRA Div Board meeting tonight.........
Have to write a review of a manuscript today, too.

Maybe the sun will come out and I can gloss a car today for decals later this week?

    So it goes....

      Good morning everyone.

Jim, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.

Another nice day here with highs in the mid 80's.

Trying to get an appointment with a business in North Jersey that buys used audio equipment.
Selling this equipment is one of the last major hurdles I need to complete before hitting the road.

      Have a great day everyone.
Follow along as my dog and I travel the country in our van.

Good morning, Jim and crew. The temperature in Tidewater Virginia is supposed to stay in the 70's. We're getting a passing shower, which may mean I won't be cutting grass today.

I have some window design work to do. I hope I don't get wrapped around the axle like Jim has with his signals.

Good morning Jim, Martin, Rick, George, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jim. We just have to get that Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

70 degrees, and sunny here in Rhode Island today.

I finished the Shop Loco #6 project and will be posting it today.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

            Morning all,

House guests are leaving today for a short trip to the Keys. Maybe I'll get some layout time in the next few days. The guests return on Friday afternoon and fly back to CO. on sunday morning. I can't wait!

            Have a great day ya'll.

Sunny and fresh this morning in MI with low chance of any rain save a slight chance of pop up’s to the East a bit later in the day.

The Doll mowed yesterday so I’m not sure what I’ll fiddle with. Something will come along, usually just after I just get things set to work on something I’ve been putting off, usually the reason it was out off before.

Everyone have a good day. Keep your fingers out of the sharp or pokey parts…

"Keep your fingers out of the sharp or pokey parts…" Your advice is too late. I'm currently wearing two band aids.

              Good morning.

We have clouds and 66F here in northern WV. The forecast calls for 3.5 miles on the rail trail.

Ran into a friend while out walking yesterday and we stood and talked for a half hour. I had a finance committee meeting at church in the late afternoon.

Today I have a work session at the club most of the afternoon.

              Have a good one.

Good morning to the entire crew. It is 68 and heading to 80 under sunny skies here in S.E. Michigan.

Bonnie is on day 2 of what is likely the Omicron variant. We will test her later. Whether it is a head cold or Omicron, I expect it to pay me a visit next.

Playing home care specialist today. Some reading and relaxing.

                Have a great day!

See your doctor. Paxlovid worked for Pat and me and it seems to be working for Pat's niece.
