  • Sunday morning brunch

Good morning crew, readers, and lurkers from 61f and dark N.E.Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Dispatcher's blend in the 'to go' cups. The crew van has been shoveled out, and fit to sit in for the ride to "The Greek's" for brunch. Karl's piloting it, and Tom called 'shotgun' once again. There is some oatmeal here for those that get 'carsick' with Karl's maneuvers. Other beverages are in the usual spot.

I built a few more turnouts yesterday. I thought I had more rail than what I actually have. I had code 100 rail from 30 years ago wrapped in newspaper. Pre-weathered! It'll make for good scrapyard scenery material. So I ordered the inflated price ME code 83 last night. It's out of stock at the usual places. But, I got a confirmed order placed.

It rained off an on yesterday here, so it was a good bench day. Haven't checked today's forecast, but I'll bet it will be another good bench day!

That's it, see you at "The Greek's" in a little while.

    Have a Super day!

    God bless America!

    Good morning everyone.

Jim, thanks for the coffee and maybe we should install 5 point harnesses to combat Karl's maneuvers.

Another beautiful sunny day here today with highs in the mid 80's.

Had a great time visiting with a friend from work yesterday and will meet up with another work friend today.

    Have a great day everyone.
Follow along as my dog and I travel the country in our van.

Good morning, Jim and crew. I'm up early because we're driving to Pittsburgh today and driving back tomorrow. It's a long story - family matter.

I've been spending time making windows, or trying to make windows. I have some ideas for a new approach, but it'll be a while before I can work on it.

        Morning Jim, Rick and others,

I've had house guests the past few days so I'm not getting much or any modeling done.

It rained off and on here last night also and today is sunny and clear in Central Fl. A high of 86 with more rain later.

        Have a great day ya'll.

        Tom

Good morning to the entire crew. It never made it past the mid-60's yesterday, but the rain slid south of us. Cloudy again today with a high temp in the upper 60's. The sun is supposed to show up tomorrow.

Some computer work and some reading are the main things on the agenda.

          Have a great day!

Good morning all. Coffee was late here in DRY western RI. Power went out around 5 and was just getting ready to fire up the camp stove when it came back on. No modeling today but it is flea market day. If anyone has any extra rain can you send it this way?? The yard is brown and crispy...lol

Good morning Guys, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jim. Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

73 degrees, and sunny here in Rhode Island today.

Going to be a lazy kickback day today for me.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Good morning. Oats and coffee for me!

Yesterday went by too quickly. I did some modeling and that felt good. I'll have something to show soon, maybe later today. We went to a car show at our county fair. A rockabilly band played for a couple of hours and it was a lot of fun. We did some swing dance to some of the appropriately-paced songs. Our swing dance teachers/friends were there also, demonstrating to the audience. My legs are a little sore.

Today, more modeling, I hope. Probably a walk and practicing music and dance.

                Have a good one.

                Mike

All day rain, 2” plus, and cold, never cracked 58, made for a real day of gravity. Could hardly get out of the chair Sat and read a spy thriller type novel, checked off all the boxes one expects for the genre but hardly a Clancy or Forsyth product. Author Brad Thor, “ yeah I’m thor, so thor I can hardly pith…” Ok read if predictable. The World is safe again…

The “high” temps set records for low temps all across the region yesterday, the Doll, always so hot she can’t stand it…kicked the heat on this morning. Of course I have on a long sleeved shirt.

Supposed to go,out to the lake nearby with friends later, not sure the pontoon boat ride will be happening. Hope not. Don’t eat the Hamburg’s, either.

Time to rustle up some grub for brunch…the road is washed out and I can’t get to the van…

                  Be well all.
