  • Wednesday morning lounge

Good morning crew, readers, and lurkers, from 59f and foggy N.E, Indiana. Can't tell if that's fog, or the mosquitos are so thick it obscures vision. The coffee urn has signaled READY with Humpyard blend. The special is a short stack, sausage patties or links, scrambled eggs on the side. Oatmeal pot is fresh, and all other drinks are at the end of the line.

Some darn neat projects with Lou's loco build and George's house build in progress, plus the others that I haven't visited yet . I'm waiting on some ME rail to start building the 23 turnouts I'll need for the new layout, It'll be a while

In the meantime, still too much time out in the health club is cramping my modeling time.

    Have a Super day!

    Good morning everyone.

Jim, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.

There will be a little more mercury in the bulb of the thermometer today with highs only reaching into the 80's.

Anyone here use the Gas Buddy app?
If, do you take advantage of the rebates?

    Have a great day everyone.
Follow along as my dog and I travel the country in our van.

Last of the chocolate chip pancakes today and lots of coffee; got to make a run over to the PO and then get some paint at HD.........

Rest of the day's agenda is to camp out in the basement office writing and when on break hit projects in the shop a bit.

Tomato harvest is in full swing; 12 more yesterday and gave 1/2 to the neighbor......1 pepper......sigh.

      So it goes.....

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is 60 and heading up to 80 under sunny skies here in S.E. Michigan.

A late morning doctor appointment and some 'honey do' projects on the list for today.

        Have a great day!

          Morning all,

Just got back from the barber and it's already hot and humid, now at 83 and climbing. I'll be staying in and working on the layout.

          Have a great day ya'll.

53, sun, going to 83? We’ll see. Low humids. Work is nagging at me.

            Enjoy.

Good morning Guys, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jim. Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day. What, no breakfast Chorizo burritos?

69 degrees, and Cloudy here in Rhode Island today. Got heavy rain for about a half hour yesterday evening, then back to the humid weather.

Jim, thanks for the NP #6 project build mention.

Today is another muggy day. The NP #6 Shop Loco project is coming along well, maybe better than expected. Thanks to all that commented.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Good morning. Thank you for the oatmeal and coffee, Jim.

We have 74F with a forecast high of 82 and rain in northern WV. We might be able to get out on the rail trail between showers.

I was able to get some modeling in yesterday and plan to do more today. I also updated a document for the NMRA and sent it along. Tonight I have a Zoom meeting with the committee planning our regional convention next year.

                Have a good one.

                Mike

Good evening, all. It was overcast when I left Rockingham County, sun appeared around Lake Champlain. Now I'm next to the old NYC Mohawk & Malone Division. We drove the Chevy Bolt, making one fast DC recharge in Middlebury VT while eating lunch. I'll take a close look at the track rehab project tomorrow. It was frustrating to see empty roadbed in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake; weeds growing and none of the people the track was removed for out using the trail.
