    Friday morning lounge

    Good morning all from 70f and foggy N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn has signaled READY with Getoffyerduff blend. The special is Luftwaffles and Knockwurst, scrambled eggs on the side. Oatmeal pot is near the end of the line, unplug it if you're the last. All other beverages at the end of the line. Coolers are ready to go.

    This is my second shot at opening, slight power hit, dropped power here for about 2 seconds. Squirrel fuse??? Anyway, yesterday turned out to be mostly working on signals and wiring. I'm getting the itch to get back to my DIY CNC router/cutter project, that I was working on last December. I'll need to do a mental restart to get back 'into it'. At least the components I ordered finally got here.

    Good morning, Jim and crew. I need a large mug of your Getoffyerduff blend to get started today. We have another day in the 90's, so we're going for a walk before it gets too hot.

    I went to the club's monthly business meeting last night. It was 20 minutes long, a new record for shortness! If that continues, we may get better turnouts for our meetings.

    I'm done with the CAD work and plan to start cutting styrene on my diorama project today.

      I'm getting a late start on edging and cutting the grass. So, I getter git to it prior to all the heat coming in the next couple of hours.

        Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is 69 and heading to 83 under sunny skies here in S.E. Michigan. The humidity is high. No pressing need to go out and sweat.

        Bonnie has a late morning appointment at the hair salon. I take here and spend some time in a nearby house of ill repute (gun shop).

        The good news is that I now have most of the lumber that I need to build the framework for a new layout.

        Muggy out already after a lot of rain last night......hurray, don't have to water the gardens! Do have to water out on the front porch; found out where the black racer is living - under the 1st front step - watched it vanish into a hole there.......

        Errand to the library today and other odds & ends, but mainly another office rearranging the paper and shop puttering day.

        Got to get everything packed up for the Strasburg O scale meet tomorrow. Taking 2 models up for display that will get auctioned off in Oct . to support the fire department.


        So it goes....
        In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Ours is a generation when dogs howl and the skin crawls on the skull with its beast's foreboding.

          Not much new here, had another storm yesterday quick pass with only 1/3” of rain. Sent eye in the sky up as it approached. No not a twister just a SLC, scary looking cloud. That is view NW direct over my place.

          Phtoshop organizer giving me fits. Says it has an update, d/l it and it fails to finish. (Elements 2021 package). Guess that’s why I’d reverted back to 2015 on the main PC. ‘21 works ok on her pc and my laptop. 2 of 3 close enuf

            Good morning everyone.

            Jim, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.

            Already took the dog to the vet and made another payment on the vets boat.

            Waiting for the call from the dealer to pick up my van.
            I'll do some grocery shop after that.

              Good morning Guys, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jim. Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

              84 degrees, and cloudy here in Rhode Island today. Going to be a warm one I guess.

              Another Critter, yes indeed. I liked the looks of this one right from the start. So just have to model it.

              Not sure what today will bring for me. I'll have to play it by ear again today. Posted a new Critter project. NP #6 Shop Loco.
