I can't find things I know I have when I need them. But in that search, I usually find the things I couldn't find the last time I looked for something. I'll find what I'm looking for this time, some time next month. Just saying!

Good morning, Jim, Tom and crew. A couple weeks ago I reorganized my parts (junk) boxes. It was a nice start, but I keep stumbling on to things that need to be added to the boxes. It's a never ending drill and it is no help in finding that piece I had in my hand five minutes ago.

Wet out this morning - pop up rain storm last night that shook the house for 15 min leftovers......hoping it will dry out so we can paint trim today. Mowed the front lawn finally late yesterday - been too long - heat and rain kept me from it. Drained 2 batteries,

Finding stuff.... I have gotten into a habit of just periodically stopping on whatever I'm working on, taking photos, and then putting away everything that I had dragged out thinking I might need or have used already, and put everything away including tools. Deep breath and then get just what I need to move forward. If I leave stuff out, stuff gets scattered and "lost". Decluttering the workspace....

Other practice has been not to accumulate stuff anymore and just use everything through attrition building more models, only buying those parts and supplies that are actually needed. I have loads of parts bins, but all organized by sources and types, and then I have John Armstrong's parts cabinet that's got specific topical supplies set aside in it.

Got writing and NMRA stuff to deal with today, .......but should get into my shop work on that little ore car and make some progress on albatross project....maybe take a break and run over to the library.....

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is sunny and 62 degrees here in S.E. Michigan. High temps should not break 80 today.

The deck crew was rained out for a while yesterday, so they are still working on adding the railings to the deck.

I finished weed wacking the fence line yesterday. My new EGO electric weed wacker worked like a charm. My gas powered model broke a gear in the transfer box near the head, and I decided that the repair would be half the price of a new electric unit.

80 degrees, and sunny here in Rhode Island today. Going to get warmer as the day goes forward.

Bruce very nice Tyco 2-6-2 (Prairie) steam locomotive video. I enjoyed watching it.

Not sure what today will bring for me. I'll have to play it by ear. Maybe some more work on the Photo critter. It's in the paint booth now.

Sun here today, low humidity and temp just headed to mid 70s, like me.

No plans again today, took me all day yesterday to handle the same list. Oh yeah, meeting the Doll’s bro and sis in law for super this evening. An evening of political paranoia and sick cat comparisons… I can already hear the Doll on the way home, “I really love my brother, but….good grief “ I’ll have little to contribute but my I presence.

My artist grand daughter came over yesterday and she and the Doll went for lunch while I picked up Rx in the other direction. She just interviewed for a job with the state of Michigan. She was beeping when Imtold her how well her drawing was received.

Good afternoon, all. The NH seacoast has been mostly clear, high 80s. We got maybe 0.5" rain last night, but the thunder missed us. Today has been retribution on a place called factorysupplyoutlet - checking after it started to look like I'd been cheated, I found their M.O. is to stall and keep on stalling, hoping their sucker won't move fast and get their money back. Meanwhile the item I need is supposed to be shipped by another firm this afternoon.

Now my afternoon on-line meeting is starting, ttyl.
