GATSME is conveniently located just off the Fort Washington Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 309. After paying the toll, continue straight up Pennsylvania Av past the BMW dealer and the Holiday Inn. Turn right on Summit Av at the Friendly's restaurant. Turn right on Prospect Av and look for GATSME on the right in 250 feet.

And here is the old school building. Our entrance is down the stairs.

Forum members please introduce yourself and you may end up running a train.

Sad news, I only got to visit once about two years ago. I will try to get my modeling group to make the trip out there in February. Have you lost your venue?

The township sold the old school and GATSME must leave by May 31, 2013. The railroad will be taken down in March, April and May.

The club is actively looking for a new home. Leads are welcome. Contact me at newhomefor@gatmse.org.

Snow is falling right now on Friday night. The forecast is for one to three inches. The salt trucks are on the move right now.

Given all that, GATSME will be open at noon on Saturday. Please check the web site gatsme.org before heading out. We will post an update at 10 AM.

If conditions are dangerous, be safe and stay put. We will be open on Sunday, the same hours.

This is the last last last weekend! Come visit the last time!

The Philadelphia area had one to eight inches of snow. This kept visitors away in the first hour. At noon, these were the first two.

From One PM until 3 PM, we were very busy. The last hour was slow. The final count was 184.

Sunday feb. 10th is our last day. Then we say good bye.

An update on GATSME:

The club moved everything into storage during the month of June. After looking for space to lease for seven months, we switched to looking to purchase. We have found a suitable building and hope to close in late September.
