This oil burner Climax chop was done by member Steve Turner. He sent me this picture, and with his permission, I'm posting it for all to see. I'm sure you will all agree with me when I say he did an outstanding kitbash with this locomotive. He turned the MDC Roundhouse Climax into an oil burner, and fitted the chassis of a Bachmann 44 Tonner to fit as the drive unit. Well done Steve!

Outstanding scene done by Steve, and equally outstanding was his recognition of Lou for another one of his projects that we all hope he gets back in the groove to do.
THE 44 TON CHASSIS NEEDS TO BE SLIGHLTY NARROWED, AFTER THAT, ITS A DIRECT FIT, AND YOU CAN USE THE 44 TON COUPLER POCKETS. SAME GOES FOR THE MDC BOXCAB, SAME DIMENSIONS AS THE CLIMAX.
