Karl, we had our first Pastie a few years before we moved to Michigan. We were on a trip that brought us across the UP and stopped in a little roadside cafe. Yummy. These details would not stand up to close scrutiny with a removable roof, but are fine for "through the window" glances. I plan on placing Kate's Kitchen in the town of Bangor, PA near my slate pit scene. When I decided to add a photo to that large back wall, I Googled "Bangor Slate Quarry" for an image search. Low and behold, one of the pictures that showed up was my model of the Bangor Slate Office. So, I printed it out and framed it for Kate's. It is amazing when I am searching for something on Google how often a picture from the Forum shows up. Here is the office on my old layout.
