Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Sorry to hear of the health issues. I hope you enjoy your vacation.

Jerry, Karl, Tom, Larry, and Rick, thank you for the well wishes for Sharon. Yesterday, she was really sore all over from the fall and has a lot of scrapes. She looks like someone punched her. That said, today she is off to the casinos in OKlahoma with three of her girl friends. Indeed, she is a trooper.

Larry, it's looking nice and warm at J.D.'s! That temperature makes me feel guilty posting a high of 71F here today. Brrr

Tom, good luck with the birds nest. What a pain that must be. I'll take the crispy hashbrowns, pancakes with real deal maple syrup. Thank you.

I plan to work in the shop today. I made a lot of progress rearranging the desk, workbench and assembly table. It looks like I'll have a lot more room. I spend some time hauling boxes from the garage to the hobby room. Baby steps.

Have fun and stay safe,
mike

Greetings,

Rick hope you feel better so you can enjoy your vacation; get some rest. My daughters boyfriend has Colitis at the age of 35 which he's had for a few years. His is so bad that he has to have infusions every now and then at the tune of $35,000 per treatment. Hope yours never gets that bad. Thanks for the coffee.

Jerry enjoy your nice weather and keep the Mill going.

Mike glad to hear that Sharron's mishap didn't deter her activities. Enjoy your time in the shop and train room. Yes J.D.'s just got a lot warmer.

Tom I'll have the waffles and real maple syrup along with crispy hash browns...yum. We are just finishing up maple "sap season" here. It takes a lot of sap to make a little syrup...but it's soooo good. Hope you get the nest sorted soon.

A nice sunny 28 this morning with a high of 63 here in New York. Later this week we'll be flirting with 70...yippee. Going to hang the drapes back up in the living room today and start getting some of the wife's stuff back up on the walls...should be fun. Maybe bench time?

Have a great day everyone and enjoy the nice weather. Be safe and stay healthy.

Just past 1100hrs and its 50, cool, going to ~60 today and the next few days. Its quite sunny.

Heard from my older son yesterday, He told me Im about to have a third daughter in law, Hes going to Vegas at the end of the week with plans to get hitched, rent a Lamborghini for a day, then if he lives thru that, do some out of Vegas sight seeing. I guess Ill have to unblock her from my cell phone...or not. Write her name down on a post-it note. Hes known her for quite awhile, off and on for better and way worst at times. My other son has never been married.

No big plans today, cooking fish likely later. Brought some gills and perch home from the North.

Hope you feel better Rick, I have regular off and on bouts with lower tract issues. Take a Rx Med just before each meal, $1200/refill glad to have Rex coverage or Id have to have a short leash.

Mike it sounds like Sharon is energetic, been years since weve casinoed, the droning noise and cigarette smoke keep me at bay, as does never getting one of those hook setting payouts to pull me in. One time we did go the Doll ran her take up over $100 from the $20 start, Id tried to head for the door and she pouted so we delayed 20 minutes until it was all gone, THEN shed go. Sure shell have fun with her friends.

Not much to add today.

Fine day all! Safe, warm and healthy.

Good morning or evening wherever in the world you are.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Sunny, with a high near 63.

Jerry, I ordered something to help me with scenery so I can finish that part of the layout.
Supposed to be here Tuesday.

Tom, congratulations to the women hockey team.

Karl, thanks, I feel fine now and fortunately don't have to take any meds for it.

Larry, thanks, and fortunately I don't need any expensive treatments.

Mike, sounds like you're almost ready to start working on models again.

Yannis, Philip, Mark B and others, haven't heard from you in a while.
Hope everything is OK.

I'll do some hiking today instead of a bike ride.
Have to do a little research and find a new place.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Good news about health. Hope you enjoy the hike.

Sharon made it back from the casinos with money in her pocket. She says she is very sore, but the scrapes and bruises are healing. Her right eye is black and her nose is still swollen. I haven't called her Jimmy Durante yet...

Rain today with a high of 66F. Repairman coming this morning to replace propane regulator. Lodge tonight.

Have fun and stay safe,
mike

Bright sun this morning and headed to the mid 60s today. That will draw me outside, I suppose.

Nice quiet day yesterday, did a small repair on the snow blower and the Doll pulled up the marker posts along the driveway, they seem to embarrass her, I'm not convinced the snow is 100% over. April can be a schizoid month weather wise.

Sounds like Sharon faired well, Mike. EZ on the teasing.

Everyone have a fine day. We have 1 1/2 then rain is in the forecast.

BE SAFE!

Good morning from Wisconsin. Heading to the 60s today but 50% chance of rain this afternoon.

Glad everyone is doing fine but the winner sounds like the injured but money winning Sharon. Glad she was able to shake off the soreness and bruises and beat a casino.

The son was here basically overnight and they left this morning for Austin with a stop planned in KC. The grandkids are here for no school Monday even though its Spring break. The daughter
Is at the office as the ladies are deciding if they want to continue working from home or come into the office. She will be here at 11 with some friends and their kids for lunch and swimming. I will man the grill but there are enough adults I dont have to watch the pool.

Thats when I will hit the paint booth. The pressure washer is back in the garage after eliminating the bird nest blocking the vent.

Have a great day

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the java. Have fun on the hike; maybe a short one to start?

Mike you may want to rethink the whole Jimmy Durante thing or at least duck first in case any projectiles happen to come flying your way.

Jerry sounds like your having fun doing the Mill and hope the paws hold up.

Karl I think your right about the April weather...you just never know. I can remember seeing snow on Mother's Day before, of course it melted the same day.

Tom glad to hear the paint booth is back in business. With the price of gas going up working from home could save people a whole bunch of $.The price of gas is killing my daughters paycheck with her hour and half commute one way.

It's a nice sunny 36 this morning in New York with a high of 66. Probably an outdoor type afternoon. Lots of sticks to pick up before any mowing can start. Bench?

Enjoy your day and the nice weather. Stay safe and healthy.

Good morning or evening wherever in the world you are.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 64.
I got real lucky with the weather this week.

Larry, I did the same yesterday picking up stuff that doesn't belong on the lawn.

Tom, good news about the nest and happy spraying.

Karl, not going to mention about any more s@#$ to not jinx things.

Jerry, glad the hands are doing better and you're making mill progress.

Mike, you might end up with two black eyes if you use that Durante remark.

Did a hike up Belle Mountain yesterday.
Coming down was harder than going up.
Also swept the sidewalk and cleaned up the garage.
Bike ride this morning.
Not 100% sure what I'll do later but it will be something outside.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. It sounds like yesterday was both fun and productive. Wishing you a day of fun and rest.

Jerry, nice to hear the hands are still working.

Karl, Tom, and Larry, I am here today as testimony that I did not mention Mr Durante to Sharon... She was really sore yesterday and went straight to bed when she got home.

Tom, congrats on clearing the pesky birds nest.

Last night two waves of storms rolled though dumping marble sized hail on everything. The forecast for today is 75F and clear. Spring is here for sure.

Haircut today, then will probably work in the shop.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning Crew from Wisconsin where it should hit low 60s but with heavy rain at times.

Rick, have fun on your vacation week.

I had planned a walk outside today but it wont happen now. I will see the bench today but not sure which of too many
ongoing projects will be worked on.

Enjoy your day

Sun to start has clouded over here at the 9 oclock hour. 51 headed to,~70. We breached the 7-0 mark yesterday and into sunset. It was pleasant with shirtsleeves while out yesterday. I tinkered with the Deere a bit out in the shop. Plugged a tree trimmer into the charger and a couple other things.

Larryc I can remember what may have been the same Mothers Day?, May, 11, 1969 some college friends and I ventured off to Michigan International Speedway for a Trans-Am race. Wet, rain, sleet and light snow at times. It was so wet at one place we were standing, were we had been watching cars coming from a long straight to a sharp left hand turn. Soaked and cold from standing in the mud we moved, I went off to buy a hotdog and a warm drink, when I returned to join my friends I saw the race was stopped and there was a gaping hole I;n the chain link fence wed been standing at and the was a blue Mustang race car crashed into a group of parked cars. One person in the cars was fatally injured and a couple others injured. Being an EMT I offered assistance but the track crew and a Doctor were in attendance had things handled. A photo I took did end up in the news. The race was won by Parnelli Jones in a Mustang with Mark Donahue second in a Cameron.

I hope nothing as exciting happens today. Ive a couple things to try to get done. As predicted, the gas station seems to have been pushed to the back of the line.

Everyone have a fine day...

Greetings Gents,

Rick are the legs stiff this morning after the bike ride? Enjoy the vacation time and the weather.

Mike that probably was a smart move on your part with the whole Durante thing. Enjoy your shop time.

Tom with a list of RR projects I sometimes just pick one and go with it. Have fun.

Jerry hope you get to do both; outside and bench time. Sadly when nice weather hits the bench gets put on "the back burner". Glad your hands are doing ok.

Karl sounds like you had a guardian angel looking out for you the day of the race; that could have gotton real ugly real fast for you. The Mother's day that I was referring to was after 1985 when we had moved into this house. Our daughter was in middle school and we had planted a wildflower garden for her Mom. When she saw the snow she was afraid that it would not come up; but it turned into a beautiful flower garden anyway.

A sunny 36 this morning with a high of 66. Grocery shopped early to beat the rush. Probably outside after lunch for awhile. Did manage to get in a little bench time yesterday; not sure about today.

Have a great day and enjoy the weather. Stay safe and healthy.
