Thanks, Rob. I don't often use that metal tray and should. It helps hold things while glue dries. I wouldn't invest in a Cricut unless you can use CAD.

You could try a strip of 1/8" acrylic, score & snap.

George, I like the acrylic idea. How about cutting it into cubes? Give the cut surfaces a sanding and hit with clear coat. Or how about pouring polyurethane into cube molds?
