Your decorations look good, Bob. I'd never heard of the briar patch stuff before. I see some applications in HO.

I like the appearance of that "briar patch" as well.
Unfortunately, it appears Scenic Express is phasing it out....

Jerry, Greg, Mike, and Pete, thanks for your comments, they are all much appreciated.
I have a few more details I need for this model. The actual cottage has a porch swing decorated for Christmas, hanging in the round area. I searched the web and found some basic dimensions for such a swing. Having used styrene strips for countless models over the years I have a couple of boxes full of scraps. I raided one of those boxes and found leftover strips to throw together this swing. The hanging hardware will attach at those brass eye bolts.

Nice looking swing, Bob. It's nice to have a large junk box.

Bob,
Excellent work for something that you “threw together.”

Bob,
I hadn't realized I haven't posted since 12/16/2020 to your thread, I am truly sorry. I missed a lot of great building going up. I might have to re-think the use of styrene as a building component, for you do such nice work with it. Your projects are always a joy to watch.
