Thanks Rich! It's great to have your support! The other buildings will be in various degrees of disrepair.

Nice work Dave. I always like once the signs go on, gives the build some highlight colours.
I may have missed it. What brand of windows did you use ?

Rob, Thanks! I use Rusty Stump sash with basswood frames. Rusty Stump products were sold but I don't know to whom. Maybe our readers can help.

Dave, https://www.rail-scale-models.com/ in North Carolina picked it up. Super fast turnaround from them. It is Rail-Scales not Rail Scales unless you need a scope mount for your AR-15.

Dave, the weathered siding looks fantastic. You've mastered the art of chipping paint.

Frank, Thanks, I sure appreciate the comment. It was your very very wicked wanda that inspired me to try crackle paint!

Started the silo construction with a 4” PVC pipe and cap.

Covered the pipe with gray construction paper to represent metal panels and cardboard strips for screw covers.

Added construction paper to the roof, painted the covers gray and painted over the covers and gray panels with random a application of platinum acrylic before rusting the entire silo with glue and powders.

Need to add front doors, deck and misc. Details to complete the feed and grain store.

I like your silo, David. What did you use to fasten the construction paper to the pipe?
