My brass steam collection of wanted engines is now complete with the purchase of an Overland Models, Inc. Lehigh Valley K6s 4-6-2 Black Diamond engine. It's all Rich's fault (aka Penman). I talked to him wanting one of these engines for many years now. I never found one on E-bay or anywhere else. So doesn't Rich send me a link to this engine on E-bay, a "buy now" item. I looked at it several times before pulling the trigger the next day. I told Rich if the wife finds out I'm blaming him for this find.

So here are the pic's Rich wanted to see.

All I can say is thank God for the stimulus check I got from Trump.

Bernd,

I'll lay big odds that this is not your "last engine"! It certainly is a beauty. Howya gonna keep it a secret? You will want to run it.

I'll never tell her how much it cost. Plus I have an Asa Packer set with a Rivvi engine that I'll be able to confuse her with.

Next will be getting a set of cars for the engine to pull.

Bernd,

Did I fail to mention that this bird has a "TWIN" !! Do you want to add another track beside this one and run its "cousin" ?? Then, maybe you can tell your wife she's either got double vison or she needs some new glasses...

Can it wait till the next stimulus check we get?

Thanks guys. She is a beauty and I'm glad I got it. I'll just have to eat hot dogs for a while instead of steak.

Perhaps if you sell that plow you bought, that you didn't use, you could add that money to the pot and buy more to fill your new roundhouse !!

Bernd, I can't wait to see it after you cut it up and make all your famous modifications.
