Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Had our first frost warning of the season last night, but mostly sunny, with a high near 63.

Jerry, that's a shame about the ball.

Tom, enjoy the large scale trains!

Karl, sorry about the wife's shingles but glad it was caught early.
I need to get the vaccine.

Larry and Philip, good morning and hope you are both well.

Using another vacation day today.
Already had breakfast and setting up for a bike ride next.
Then a chore or two.
After that a visit with Mom at the hospital.
She fell last night and dislocated her shoulder and broke a few bones.
She was told she might need a bit of surgery.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Rick and Crew from very wet So. Central Wisconsin. Todayís large scale train event was cancelled last night.
The Pandemic is running rampant in Wisconsin and getting worst everyday. Itís just not worth having a party today and risk
peopleís health. Plus the heavy rains that came down and are also scheduled for this morning messes everything up.

Rick, hope you mom gets well quick.

Have a great day.

Ugly grey with growing percentages of rain thru out the day. Bed looks inviting...

same thing here when we went to look at appliances for the "summer cabin"....it's only money...we'll have way better stuff up there for part time than here at the Southern Command compound...what makes it a compound? One of those gratuitous terms the purveyors of "news" throw out much like "tarmac" for the parking area ie:ramp at an airport....-rant ends-

Didn't get at the Deere yesterday, maybe today, or not. It's slightly warmer today, but rain....the spoiler.

Have a good day all. Be well. Hang on to your collective wallets boys!

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Sounds like a good day is in store. Bummer about your Mom, thankful it wasn't worse. Hope she recovers soon.

Tom, sounds like a fun day is in store.

Jerry, lake effect or not, it still looks cold .

Larry, the farm progress looks good. Progress indeed.

Philip, how is Fusion 360 learning progressing?

91F today, cloudy and windy, but no rain. Going rock and fossil hunting with my Sister today. New experience for me.

Have fun,
mike

Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the coffee. Sorry to hear about your Mom, it's tough when folks get older and have those types of issues; went through that when my Dad was alive.

Tom probably a smart choice to cancel for everyone concerned; you or your family certainly would't want to get sick.

Karl appliances certainly are expensive and usually don't last the way they used to; now if you can get ten years of service out of them then your doing well. Yup it's just money.

Mike thanks. Progress has been slow with all of the other things popping up; guess that's why it's called a hobby. Fossil hunting sounds like fun to me.

Jerry and Philip hope your doing well.

Going to be a high of 60 today; 40 now here in Central NY. Had our second hard frost the other night; it's coming boys. The Mrs. and I went for a ride yesterday, being that it was sunny, and drove about 20 minutes along Chittenango Creek to the top of Chittenango Falls and took the high road which looks over a huge valley. The fall colors were breathtaking and well worth the ride. That area my Dad would talk about as being "the valley" which ends up where the Farm was. Maybe even some bench time latter.

Have a great day and be safe.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/63!

Rick, all the best for your Mom, nice they let you visit her. A friend of ours spent about 12 hours sitting in the parking lot at the hospital while her husband was at Emergency and then admitted.

Rain and cold hit before I made it to the shop today. Temp dropped 10 degrees in minutes.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Best wishes for your Mom's surgery.

Forecast for 71F today, no rain.

Last appointment for my hand physical therapy is this morning. Hand is sore today from rock hunting.

My sister and I had a good time on the Brazos yesterday. I found petrified wood and she collected a wash pale full of rocks to sort.

Happy Monday,
mike

Rick thanks for the java. Hope your Mom's surgery goes well.

Karl that's quite the new place. Is the overhang going to have any support posts in the front; that's a long span for just the joists having to support the roof and snow weight.

Mike hope your last PT goes well. That'a quite a peaceful setting that you photographed. Never being in Texas myself, I was surprised how green and lush it looks.

Jerry enjoy your walk on the beach before the snow sets in.

Mild this morning here in Central NY with a high of 59 and rain. Got in some bench time already this morning and some more after lunch. Going to help the Mrs. tweak our project from the other day.

Have a wonderful day and stay healthy/safe.

Thanks for the coffee Rick, sorry to hear about your Mother!

Karl, nice looking walk-out there! I've always wanted something like that!

Mike, your lucky about that hand, to close for comfort! The cad is going well. It's free for hobbyist, Fusion 360 and I found the perfect free instructor here

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74.

Philip, looks like you're getting the hang of that software.

Larry, you're doing a great job on your family farm model.

Jerry, probably was nice at the beach yesterday but I bet it was windy.

Mike, nice pic and I didn't know rocks were in season.

Karl, lots of progress at the new place.

Thanks for the well wishes for Mom.
Surgery was a success.
She shattered her shoulder socket and will have at least 6 months PT.

Have a great day everyone.

Clear and 27 this morning. The Doll and I went for a little ride yesterday, ended up...at the cedar swamp to check the place out. There was some discussion about where to put the propane tank. So...we decided to be here this morning when that happens to see that itís right. The deck looks great in person. There will be posts to the overhang but the trusses are engineered by a UP manufacturing company with the local weather in mind. The front walkout side wall is the bearing wall.

The ride up was fine and while lots of leaves have fallen the color is still terrific.

Time to run off. Best to your Mom,Rick.

Be well.
