Morning everyone

Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.

Philip congratulations on your 43rd anniversary.

Weather in South Jersey windy to say the least. Gusts up to 65 mph.
At least the rain has stopped for a little while.

Not sure whats on the agenda today. Like it will be different than the last 2 weeks.

Everyone have a great day!!

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 57.

Karl, have a picture of the ballast spreader?

Mike, how's the training?

Jerry, nicer weather today so you should be able to get out.

Got a lot done inside yesterday so today will be an outside day.
Bike ride first.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Enjoy your ride today.

It's chilly this morning at 42F and headed to 55F this afternoon. No rain, so we'll continue the dog training with the pet fence.

A/C service comes this morning and grocery pickup this evening, otherwise...hour by hour.

Have fun,
Mike

Hi all. Another day at the workbench. Not much else to do.

Rick, I noticed in the photography section that you had been to New Bedford Ma. I enjoyed the pictures as I grew up just one town over and spent a lot of time there. The Whaling Museum was my favorite.

Mrs Hopeless wants us to take a walk. At least we have that to do. The campus has 160 acres so plenty of areas to wander. Yesterday was so windy I took the dog out and she could hardly move, only 6 pounds and was not happy.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Rain this morning and then sun later with temps in the low 50's.

Roland, went there for a CSS show in '07.
Didn't go to the museum.

Mike, hope the dog training is going well.

Hi Jerry.

Tom you out there?

Still haven't heard from work so I know I'll be off till Saturday.
Hopefully get the backyard mowed today.

Have a great day everyone.

26 and plans to mow the yard have been stymied....by about an inch of G.D. SNOW! that is just adding to the joy.

Re-stained all the pieces to a Campbell Howe Truss Bridge I've been toying with the last couple of days. My alcohol-india ink concoction went to crap, the ink precipitated out like little specks. I used a new, to me, product I'd been using the last few weeks for weathering freight cars called CREATEfx by Testors. It looks like watered down Grimy Black, it's a black wash according to the label. I stretched it out a bit with airbush medium by Liquitex when it got low....makes the wood look like a weathered creosoted material. A bit darker than I'd planned but it looks ok. All the major parts done, a bag of smaller ones to try and get at today. Then I have to try and find a space to use to put it together. Maybe, or chuck it all back in the box.

Rick, I tried to load photos of the ballast thing, but Photobucket is fubar today.

Snow, can you believe it? Those pics won't load either.

Good day all

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

64F and no rain forecast for today. More dog training in store.

Yesterday was busy and today will be, too. I really hope for some bench time. So many honeydo items left on the list.

I'm curious about how many of the group attended the old Craftsman Structure Show in 2007-2009. Who was there?

Have fun and be safe,
Mike

Good evening from cold So. Wisconsin. Karl the ballast spread looks good, better then the McDonalds Mcflurry spoons I use.

Rick, Iím here now! Spent 3 nights in the hospital even though I donít remember night 1. I fell again and knocked myself out.

I put a couple logs on the fire, I pulled the Eagle Rare out of the cabinet and checked the beers are still cold, they are. I will have a nice chilled H2O as the
medicines all say no alcohol.

Tom I hope your feeling better.

Thanks for keeping the fire going. Its 32 here in South Jersey.

So I'll sit by the fire and have a nice Eagle Rare.

I'll throw a log on or two for Rick in the morning so he doesn't freeze opening up.

If your around stop by.
