Good morning all from overcast and cool N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Firebox blend this day. Pancakes and smokie links are up on the serving line. All beverages available. Bon Apetit!

Interesting job yesterday out in the shop. A guy who bought one of the USRA style tenders we built 35+ years ago, brought it by to show me that the coupler pocket had a crack in it. He had bought it used, and was an appliance operator. 3/16" plate steel doesn't crack without a pretty good whack! Anyway, a little grinding and the MIG welder took care of the coupler pocket. Then the guy wanted the history of the tender, yada, yada, yada.

Maybe today I can get back to mowing the grass after I have a meeting about 60 miles North of here at noon. Maybe tomorrow.

Have a Super day!

Jim

Mornin, Jim and crew!

Grey, wet and trending toward bleah here in the northern mitten today. Coffee-Ands sound good right now. Thanks.

Will be crutching around today, as allergy shots and some other appointments are calling. Yippee-Skippee....

How big is this tender? 7/8 scale?

Make it a great day, all, and stay safe!

Cloudy and mid 60sbin da Yoop this morning after an all night rain. The lake is angry and noisy this morning with beach warnings in effect. Ok surfing Iíd suppose but not my thing. The eagles were above off and on all day. I was half s bubble off plum most of the day.

Had positive news on the house sale. The buyer removed the contingency on the sale of her house and is proceeding with setting up a closing. Nice to have positive news. Nice to have email to be able to sign papers in the woods.

Everyone have a good day.

Pete,

1/8th scale, 7-1/2" gauge track. 1 short bucket of coal, ~15 gallons of water.

Good morning Jim, Pete, Karl and the rest of the RR-L Crew. Spent yesterday morning till noon at the ER with Mary again. Pain was sever and they did a battery of tests and found nothing. Still seems to be the Thyroid med issue. She sees the specialist tomorrow. Today I go to the Ortho Dr. to see about having my hands operated on. I have trigger finger real bad in both hands. My morning pain unfortunately. It's worse then as I also have circulation issues. At least the blood flow to my brain is good.

Only 5 more days and RSSM CLOSES. Still have a large stack of orders to work on so the next month or so will be trying to clean up that backlog.

Everyone have a FUN day in the Train Yard. Good to hear that news Karl and take care Pete.

Good morning from wet, wet and very wet So. Wisconsin. It didnít rain last night it Poured. 3 major t-storms came through late night and this morning. It will warm up, finally, to 84f degrees after many days in the high 60ís and low 70ís. We received more rain overnight 2.74Ē then we have had combined since July. More rain today. The aeration of the lawns was on schedule for today but now it doesnít look dry enough anytime this week.

I am working on 2 electrical sheds for the substation. I primed yesterday and the prime looks maybe good enough to be the finish color. Terry will decide that as I am not good with colors and she is aware I duplicated the sheds in the substation down the street. Have a great day.

Kinda' sad with RSSM closing but I'm happy for Walt & Mary to be able to get some retirement time.
Nice weather here but I suppose that S word will come around. I did get another lawn mowing done.
Seems to be a resurgence on the kits so I need to get busy packing.
