Just curious as to how many forumites are at or going to the convention in Sacramento.

I had intended to but health issues have prevented me from doing the 15 hours of flying to get there.

I would love some photos if anyone can upload them.

After a really tense week trying to figure out if we could get out of Florida to go to Sacramento, we now are really looking forward to the trip. Giving a clinic on the West Side Lumber Company and being within driving distance of a lot of other logging, we are hoping for one of the best conventions. Oh yeah, private car tickets on the Sierra double header wonít be bad either.

A convention in Sacramento is likely to be well worth the trip. Great railroads, great food, great people, great Museums and the usual great NNGC offerings.

Highly recommend, and would be there myself were I not recovering from ankle surgery.

Martin,

I really enjoyed your clinic and I learned a lot. You did a good job at explaining some of your methods. I will be looking for "the brush."

For those who went, they had a good time, no time to be board. With 5 home layouts and 2 modular layouts in On30, this scale and gauge was well represented. Last fun fact, 4 of the 14 committee members came from the local On30 group, although one is a fanatical card carrying rivet counter, at least with his On3 home layout, he just likes the comradery of the group.

Some pictures taken at the Convention can be found on the Facebook page On30 Railroading (I remember how hard it is to post pictures on this forum).
