Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Jerry, how about a western omelet, hash browns...thanks.

Its a bright morning on the Brazos. IT rained unexpectedly last evening, right after I washed my car. Headed to just a 100F today. Maybe it's cooling a bit.

I'm off to Fort Worth for an oil service. Maybe the Texas Western club tonight.

Have fun,
Mike

Afternoon

Just back from the beach.

There's cold ones in the fridge with the white wine and Cherry Pepsi.
Eagle rare and assorted bourbons & whiskeys on the back bar along with red wine.

I'll have a cold one right now.

Won't you join in after a days work!

I'll be back later...

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Pepsi are ready to go.

Cloudy and mid 80's with another chance of t-storms late in the afternoon.

Rented a router from Home Depot and got my gutter drain unclogged.
Hardest part was getting the machine in and out of the car.

Back to work today.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

It's going to be warm again today. No rain.

Picking up car from oil service and diesel exhaust service.

Tonight's meal is ribs and chicken from local Rib Shack. Going to learn to play Eurche, too. I hate games.

Have fun,
Mike

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee.
Be careful on the rails today!

Another beach day looks to be fairly nice until early evening when T-storms might roll through!

Nothing from the train room...

Everyone have a great day!!

Good morning folks,
After what was surely a spate of record-breaking highs, today is overcast with cooler temperatures.
I have played Hearts, and we play Gin in the family, which everyone likes. Don't like poker, Bridge is too complicated. Never tried Euchre but it is a fan-favourite in the West, for some reason. Love board games though. I like to play socially, so anything that turns really competitive leaves me cold.
The wife's aunt and uncle left so my basement (and train room) are accessible again. Maybe I will get a chance to get something done.
Cheers,
Dave

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Pepsi are ready to go.

Upper 80's and scattered t-storms which they will keep predicting till they get it right.

Never heard of Euchre.
Haven't played hearts or spades since college.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning from crisp So. Wisconsin. 51 heading to 81f degrees. Hopefully a great weather day.

I remember learning to play pinochle around age 4 with my parents and sister. As a teen we played pinochle for money in the caddy shack at the golf course waiting for bags, itís were I learned to gamble. College was sheepshead and I earned a lot of money playing that until I met Terry. Cards were great entertainment until I started playing blackjack at the casinos. I quit playing any cards around age 50 and havenít missed it.

Today is the morning visits to 2 Farmer Markets and maybe a Sweet corn festival this afternoon. Grilled sweet corn is so great. Enjoy your day.

Tom

Good afternoon folks,

Sorry I missed coffee but thanks anyway, Rick.

Just back from cooking breakfast and lunch at a big lodge meeting. I am ready for a nap.

The game of Euchre reminded me of bridge a little bit. It has fuzzy rules about trump cards and suits. It is only played with A, K, Q, J, 10. Weird, but I survived.

It is another hot one. Stay comfortable folk,
Mike
