The other day I stumbled upon this operating logging large diorama on YouTube that has large RC logging equipment as well as an operating sawmill. I don't know the scale but it is either 1/2" or perhaps 1" scale. Whoever built this sure has a lot of spare time on his hands.

Thanks Jack for posting the video.
This brings up a similar post to mind. Perhaps this is why Jerry is taking so long to finish his fabulous machine shop, he's considering to take it to the extreme by making a working machine shop !! Right Jerry??

This reminds me of a 'layout' that was open during the 2015 Portland OR NMRA convention, about an hour's drive down the Columbia: One 1:8 scale log skidding winch running on air hauling logs to the landing, another loading them on skeleton flats and a 7.5" gauge Shay hauling them back out into the woods for another round of high-lining. No sawmill there, though.
