As of February 1st, 2019 Rusty Stumps Scale Models will no longer be creating laser cut kits or any laser cut products.

Our attention will be on our high end 3D Printed Detailing items and resin castings. Plus we will be offering limited edition "stick built" kits.
Our laser unit will be sold off within a few months and our current inventory of laser cut kits will be the last. So, if you've been thinking of buying any of them now is the time because there is a limited inventory and when it runs out that's all there will be. This will allow for that area to used for the expansion of what we will be selling as state above. NO we are NOT going out of business, just re-focusing it.

So, what brings this about? Partly there is an explosion of laser cut kit manufactures and a limited customer base for those products. Costs are high and sales aren't what we feel they need to be in this type of product area. We have been at it for going on 20 years and have seen a lot of changes in that time and feel now is the time for us to change also.

Our sales of 3D detail products has been good and we hope to expand it greatly with many new offerings. As to the stick build kits. Well we feel there is a market for them especially when we combine them with our detailing pieces. These will be limited edition kits with only a most quantity produced. By limiting my time to these items I will be able to actually do more, not less.
