A little sun this morning, we probably had 3-4 of the 8-12 we were forecast to get. We had freezing mist on the windscreen on the way home from Lansing yesterday afternoon. Used plenty of blue juice keeping that at bay. Another 2 or so on the ground today, its 11. Tonight it goes down to the -teens, so says the weather pros.

Headed out to forage for breakfast, the Doll fed the birds and cats this morning. Then? Who knows....more snow removal, I suppose.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening. Enjoy the weekend.

Oatmeal with brown sugar and cinnamon are on the counter. IT should keep folks warm most of the morning.

Its 30F rising to 50F today. Sun is out.

No plans, so hoping to head to workbench today.

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning. Crispy cold in So. Wisconsin, the 12+ of white stuff went around us, we officially got 7 at the airport. The cold has set in. Put the wife on a plane to Austin as she has had enough cold and white stuff. Medically, I am not cleared to fly yet so I will watch the cold and white stuff. Cave days and beef to eat, ok for me.

Stay safe
Tom

Good Rick thanks for coffee Mike for breakfast It's 21 and breezy here in SE Ohio not going to get as bad as the upper midwest although cold is the name of the game for a couple of days. I have to fix a low voltage snafu on the track. It should be an easy fix

Stay warm in the frozen yard

Mark

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and diet Dr. Peppers are ready to go.

Sunny in the AM, but then the clouds roll in and we might get 1-2" of the white stuff.
Overnight the temps drop into the single digits.

Had a very nice time with Jerry and Diane last night.
Good friends, good talk, good food and good beer.

Doing prep today for the dreaded colonoscopy tomorrow.
Not eating all day is the hardest part for me.
Already thinking about food.

Stay warm and safe everyone and have a great day.

As you think, so will you be.

-5 with 17mph wind= -27 wind chill. Weve had lake effect snow for the last 36 hours and oh yeah, its cold. We are getting a peak at the sun right now but

Worked on scenery yesterday and may again today. The snow blower is taking the day off.

Everyone have fun. Stay warm and safe.

I agree Mark.

Good morning. Rick thanks for pushing us forward on this cold day. So. Wisconsin is at -24freal and the wind chill is now at -49 which is a few degrees warmer than a couple hours ago.

Basically So. Wisconsin is closed, the malls and even the Post office with no mail delivery. I fed the horses and did what I had to do for them. They have a nice new stable and it is a well built weather tight building. One of the neighbor teens will come over while the wife is gone and muck the stalls and let them into the arena for exercise. That makes it another cave day for me. Stay safe and warm.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Good luck with your colonoscopies, important stuff. The prep is the worst thing.

It's cloudy on the Brazos and cold at 41F. West and East of us its sleeting, but no forecast for here.

Today is lodge work day, but I feel like staying in my easy chair and watching old movies...

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and diet Dr. Peppers are ready to go.

We're starting the day here in Joisey in the single digits and will only get a high in the mid teens.
I'm sure it's a lot colder in some of the areas you're at.

Can't wait to get the procedure finished so I can get something to eat.

Stay warm and safe and have a great day.

As you think, so will you be.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Headed to optometrist this morning, then off to the Texas Western this afternoon.

I saw this freezing weather tip for real railroad folks and thought I'd pass it along:

Happy rails,
Mike
