Sunny and 45 in West Michigan this early afternoon. Taking the Doll around for a post holiday antiquing fix. Had my inoculation at the Hobby Recycling store, too. I bought a couple of Campbell kits. Clerk said I was a rare breed, buying wood kits instead of built-ups.

Stopped at my sonís new job yesterday. Heís as happy as the proverbial pig in...grease. Had the motor out of an old Toyota truck on the floor , ear buds in and smiling. Says heís cut his cigarettes in half and enjoying it.

I hope everyone has a good day. Itís amazing what a little sun and ďwarmthĒ can do for oneís state of mind. Jan 4 and still bare ground, even this close to the big pond.

Good afternoon from very sunny So. Wisconsin. The warranty on the water removal system for the house is 3 years old and needed itís yearly inspection. Guy was here for 3 hours even though it took 30 to check everything over. He is a train lover but lives too far away. We operated the layout for almost an hour and bsíed the rest. Flat fee for the inspection so didnít bother me. His dad was a narrow gauge guy he said.

Good morning and Rick thanks for the diet Dr Peppers and getting us moving. Very sunny again in So. Wisconsin and the temps will be in the mid-40ís so that means we get to 50 f degrees. I have had no faith in the weather folks but hope the 40+ part is right. The guy on TV says 3 more days of this and all the white stuff may disappear.

Possibly heading to an indoor farmers market, someone in the household has not made up her mind yet. Household chores, putting away some more Xmas indoor stuff, like dishes. Then dinner out and we are going to see the UW Badger menís hockey team, a first for us. We have season tickets to the women but they are out of town. Enjoy your day

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for the coffee.

It's a bright and clear day on the Brazos with temperature rising to promised 72F. That should be nice.

Outside work will take most of the day. Going to make gumbo this afternoon.

Have fun,
Mike

Good evening from dark So. Wisconsin. The day seemed long. Went to see with the 5 yr. old grandson and his dad, Spider-Man in the Multiverse or something like that. Animated and it was good and contained some laugh moments. However do not ask me the plot lines, not sure there were any.

Watched the kickoff of Bears/Eagles, did things from 1/2 time to last 50 seconds. Bear kicker hit the goal posts to lose!

I opened a bottle of Orphan Barrel Rhetoric a bourbon my brother gifted us with. Is very smooth and I know nothing about Bourbon but this stuff is good. Enjoy

Wet, wind and ice this morning after a flawless sunny weekend. Temp~freezing going to 40 and rain. Just plain yuck.

The birthday party Sat night was enlightening, a group of 14-16 year olds sitting around watching F bomb laden zombie and fright movies....Not in my day. The cake was good, tho.

Iím thinking of changing phone carriers, recent trips to the Upper Peninsula have resulted in very poor service, none to speak of, from SPRINT. They have zero coverage for data W of the Mackinac - Soo corridor resulting in phones being impaired. Sprint doesnít work without an antenna on my WiFi here at my home, either.

Modeling bench is in my plans for today. Iíve had to cut and chop at my fancy 3d printed component board I made for my Stewart Baldwin to make things fit. It all looked good before I tried to put the shell on.

Things to do, the Doll is headed to do some antiquing with friends at an old cottage on a nearby lake.

Enjoy, all.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, and bacon are on the counter.

It's hazy this morning on the Brazos, but the forecast is for 74F.

Have a funeral to attend this afternoon.

Good day,
Mike
