Happy Saturday. So. Wisconsin is cold at 19f. Errand day which for us is unusual for a weekend. Stable employee Xmas party tonight and the kids will be announcing that the stables are sold and will introduce the new owners. The Xmas presents have been enhanced to going away thank you gifts. I am very proud of the daughter and her hubby for rewarding their employees. They took a portion of the sales money and are giving someto each employee.

I will be focusing on the layout the next 12 days. Yes, Tom has a plan! My biggest scenic booster and critic, my niece always inspects the layout at Xmas time.

Have a wonderful day
Tom

Cloudy and cold in MI. A 90 second peek of sun is the highlight of the day, so far. Iím contemplating a trip to the far far side of Lansing for a Div 5 meeting at 1. Weíre dining at friendsí this evening and then taking a 2 day road trip tomorrow and Monday.

Everyone have a good Saturday.

Good morning crew!
Thanks for brekkie, Mike.
Tom, that's a wonderful thing your kids did. Too few people realize that their success is due to others. It's nice to see someone pass on some of the profits to their employees.
I set up our 5 Christmas trees last night. Today my wife, the kids and their add-ons will decorate them. It's my wife's favourite time of the year. She has appies all planned out, egg nog ready, and she's baking scones for breakfast. When I get home I'm sure the house will be ultra-festive!
Have a good day!
Cheers,
Dave

Morning everyone

Coffee is on water for the tea guys & Dr. Pepper in the fridge.
We have pancakes with butter & Vermont maple syrup. Sides of bacon and sausage.

Weather in South Jersey clear/26. With clouds moving in later.

Well the Christmas decorations are up inside and outside.

Today were heading up the road to see one of Diane's son and his wife.

Everyone have a great day!!

Good morning folks,

Jerry, thanks for the wonderful breakfast and coffee.

It is going to warm to 49F today. Tonight will freeze. Need to drain the sprinkler system today.

The Division One Christmas party was a hoot. They presented over $2000 in door prizes. I didn't win anything this year, but the managed to get a couple of cabooses in in the white elephant. Sadly, HO an HOn3.

Maybe some bench time today.

Stay warm,
Mike

Good morning everyone.

Jerry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Funny, Susan and I went out to breakfast this morning and I had eggs, bacon and pancakes.

It's a sad day here today.
We had to my dog Sarah to sleep today.
She was getting gradually weaker the last couple of weeks and when I let her out this morning she collapsed in the back yard.
I scooped her up and brought her in.
My roommate and I took her to the emergency clinic.
They took blood and saw that her red blood cell count was very low.
This indicated she was bleeding internally and probably had tumors.
They said after the surgery she'd need chemo.
Sarah was at least 14 years old and my roommate and I agonized on what to do.
In the end we agreed that we wouldn't put her through surgery and chemo.
She will be very missed around her.
She was by far the best dog ever.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone. Rick so sad for your loss. What a beautiful girl.

Lights are slowly going on the tree, my job and I used to love it. Jerry, that tree is very nice.

Mike, glad your party was fun.

The Xmas and thank you party was fun last night, the kids, 33 of them had a ball as it seemed did the adults. No one except our family knew about the announcement of new owners so while exciting for us, real nervousness from the staff. The new owners ensured them they all have jobs, that gotgreat applause. The going away thank you gifts were received wonderfully. The new guys said, you really did try to treat them like family, again so proud of my daughter and her hubby. The change over is tomorrow and should be seamless. The new manager is one of the crew and weíll liked by staff and new ownership. He has been about 2 weeks working over at there other stables so understands what new ownership wants.

Enjoy your day
TomO
