Good evening folks,
Jerry, thanks for the coffee. Wish I had made breakfast, but I left before your griddle was hot...
Made it to my sister's house in seven hours. The trip would have been faster but there was a pile up on an bridge under construction and down to one lane. What a mess and it added over an hour to the commute. Alas, I am safe.
I have a lot to be thankful for, and I hope you do, too. I have visited all the continents on the planet, and North America is as good as it gets. Of course I am biased and mean no disrespect to modelers from other continents.
Happy Thanksgiving, Mike

Good morning everyone.
Coffee, hot water for tea and diet Dr. Pepper is ready.
It will be sunny but won't get above freezing in Joisey today.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm going to my brother's sister-in-laws house for dinner.
This what was happening on the RR yesterday.
Plastic sheet wrapped around the catenary caused an hour long delay. Weird how this stuff tends to happen on the busiest days and at rush hour. Anyway, I had the easiest day yet at work. Only worked two trains instead of four, didn't collect a single ticket and got home an hour early.
Have a great day everyone.

23 degrees in MI this morning, too. Never cracked freezing yesterday even with a little sun..
Odd ‘incident’ Rick.
Happy Thanksgiving all.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends. You may not want brekkie but for those of us who celebrated the feast during warmer weather, I have apple cinnamon crepes drizzled with Dolce Leche (thank caramel). Safe travels for those who do. Cheers, Dave

Thanks Larry. Since I missed out last night when Jerry poured some Eagle Rare, I think I'll have one now before heading out the door.

Family folks of great number had a fine dinner at the Doll’s daughter’s place, she was organized and cool thru it all. We were well fed and well entertained by fine family time.
Off to the barn to affix the snow blower to the John Deere, then the Doll mentioned some sort of sale over on the NW side of Grand Rapids later in the day, such mentions usually have the power of a Presidential declaration. So, I better get off here an back out in the barn. Spent an hour plus out there just getting the attachment out from behind things, my old 9n Ford was particularly grumpy, start with the jump box, run along until everything is buttoned up then just as I let out the clutch it’d quit. Took 15 minute to move it 50 feet.
Sunny and pleasant today, so, back outside.
