Here it snowed real heavy all afternoon and now there is freezing rain. Newspaper said there were 300 accidents between 11 and 4. Seems like some people's IQ drop 50 points when they get behind the wheel. Nice to be retired with the car safely in the garage.

Good morning everyone.

Reg and decaf coffee are ready, hot water for tea and diet Dr. Pepper too.

Partly cloudy with temps in the mid 40's in Joisey today.
Rained all night and all the s@#$ is gone from the street and sidewalks.

Glad I'm off yesterday and today.
The railroad was a mess yesterday and is still that way today.
Lots of cancelled trains.
Roads and buses were even worse than the trains.

Nice to see the lounge so busy.
Thanks everyone for stopping in and participating.

Meeting Jerry and his lovely bride Diane for dinner today.

Have a great day everyone.

As you think, so will you be.

No white stuff yet in So. Wisconsin but that will change overnight as maybe 4Ē will cover the ground. It will give me something to take my mind off the Sunday medical event. Not sure why I am nervous but I am.

I need to vacuum the main floor of the house while Terry is at the fitness center. Enjoy your day.

Good morning crew!
A late start for me but I brought some Birthday breakfast to share. French Toast with Quebec Maple Syrup and Bailey's for coffee! My wife is taking me out for supper tonight and kids coming over for Sunday birthday brunch.
Managed to find some time to spread some Celluclay/plaster goop on the RR last night. It is still drying...
Got another 1:1 project to do - constructing built-in book cases around fireplace. Never ends...
Rick, glad you are not stuck in that mess. David, you got to meet Marty. Cool.
Have a good one. Cheers,
Dave

Good evening folks,

Dave, thanks for coffee and Birthday goodies. You are sharing, right? Happy Birthday.

What a picture of Penn Station. Holy cow, that is madness.

Daughter and son visiting tomorrow, so going to cook racklette. Had to shop today, then took a nap.

Good night all,
Mike

A bit of sun peeking over the horizon this morning, but a image shows light s*# moving in from the Westerly direction to snarl things by the time folks head out. Iíll be off in a bit to ops at Andy Keeneyís near Lansing. Then a family get together on the far side of Lansing this evening.

A bit of a buffet here this morning on the lounge car as we move out of our repose for the day. The steam line has the car well heated. Ballast tamper coffee, thick and dark is in the pot.

Mike, what is racklette? Sounds like what is sold around here marketed as Ďbaby backí ribs....but then thatís why I asked.

Have fun all.
