Hi guys, I don't know how much time I have to promote this idea, before the forum shuts down for the weekend.
So I have this idea that we try and build a small kit, or a small structure whatever.
Since we won't be distracted by having to check out what's happening here, I thought we could try to use our extra time building something.
Then we all show what we have done, when the forum comes back on-line.

What do you think, anybody in?
I'm going to try, and see what I can do.
How about you!

That's okay Jim, good luck with whatever your working on!

Here is what I'm going to build.
I picked this up at a recent model train show for $2 bucks.
The box said Preiser on it, you know the figure makers, so that intrigued me.
Here's what my kit looks like.

I have a scratchbuilt house in progress, but won't make any progress tomorrow as I'll be at Seashore Trolley Museum's annual meeting. Maybe Sunday.

Gregg,
The forum is going to be down for almost 2 days, so.....
I may be able to build one of my "24's" during that time scale..... ;)

It appears the electricians can't find the right plug to pull.

Well, I got my little trailer finished.
I did not use the wheels that came with the kit, they looked more like rims without tires on them.
So I used some metal castings for my new set of wheels instead.

I used the time the forum was down to build a highly detailed model of the latest stealth
aircraft. They can make them stealthy but they still cast a shadow.

Bob, reminds me of shadowy men on a shadowy planet.
If my security clearance is high enough, I would love to see your stealth aircraft.

Greg,

Your security clearance is top drawer with me but the whole idea of stealth is that you can't

see it (and the truth is that this one doesn't exist, only the shadow real).

Nice looking trailer there Greg.

Those little builds are often the best way to get the juices flowing again I find.

Greg that thing reminds me of a Gypsy wagon. Nice job on the build! Bob I also have one of those aircraft. I would post a pic of it but mine is a more advanced version it doesn't even cast a shadow!
