Hi everyone, in my opinion George Sellios of "Fine Scale miniatures" is the greatest fine scale kit manufacturer of our time.
Sadly... George produced his very last kit, last year in 2016 Jewel series 19 "The I.M.DUNN Co."
I built my very first FSM kit when I was 13 years old, Ezra Cooper's Garage.
That kit opened my eyes to the world of fine scale kit building.
I went on to build many of George's kits over the years, and I credit George and his awesome kits into making me the modeller that I am today.
I have never done a build featuring a FSM kit before, so in honor of George and his fantastic kits, I'm going to do a detailed build of this kit here.
I don't think anyone here at RRLInes has done a build of this kit yet, and I would have done one this sooner, but I had a battle with a fort that I had to get out of the way first.
Should anyone else who has this kit, and would like to join in with it, please do, that would be great!

Here is what The kit looks like for those unfortunate modellers that don't have it yet.

The easily recognizable yellow & black box that FSM kits came in.

This kit's contents.

And the full colour photos of this kit, taken by George's daughter, Tara Sellios.

I hope you forum members will enjoy watching another great Sellios kit come to life.

Greg,

Enjoy the build. If you have any questions, I may be able to help since I already built mine. Looking forward to your progress.

You could also say punster meets punster.

This should be a fun ride.

This will be a outstanding thread. I'm hoping that you also add lights to the build as the additional detail will enhance the construction and viewing experience, IMO. I, for one, really look forward to your tribute to George, as he has been a major influence on many of us.

Thanks very much guys! For your positive responses to this build.

Frank, I would love to see what you have done with your kit!

Kris, you know me to well, I will be adding some lighting to this kit.

Greg,

Looks GREAT, especially with you at the model bench. Can't wait to see it develop.
