Bob, Do you think Terrell's will have a grand opening with cheese cubes and Vienna sausages and little wedges of melon and the like so the neighborhood can try out picks? :)

Mark, Carl, Pete, Fred, and Bill, thanks for your comments.

Bill, That sounds delicious but you will have to ask Mr. Terrell about that, I only run the construction crew.

Bob,

What Ted said...What a Build!!!

You get to wear the top hat!

I'll never look at toothpicks the same again...the manufacturing is a major process. Thanks for the education!

That looks incredible! I especially like the pipes, they add interest and also tie it all together visually.

Ted, Dave, and Ray, thanks again for posting.

I squeezed the shop foreman's desk in and installed the lighting.

I was wondering how visible all of your hard work was going to be once it was all in place. It can be seen quite well! Excellent !! The desk area is perfect !!

Fred and Greg, Thanks for visiting.

Fred, You had better like this place, because as the owner you could tell me to tear it
down if you were not pleased.

I think I will make more little boxes of toothpicks and while at it look around again
to see what details I may be missing, I'm sure there are many. I need to add handrails at the steps.

Then I will move back outside again. I have a long pipe to get the wood dust up to the
sawdust burner on the roof. In fact, now that I think about it I also have to make the
sawdust burner. There are other roof details I want to add, a roof access hatch, plumbing
vent pipes, chimneys, and maybe even another billboard. Enough to keep me busy for a while.

If you remember how I got started on this project, I only wanted to add a blank brick
wall to the drugstore to set it more into an inner city environment. HA. The pair forms a
block 13 x 13.5 x 19 inches, a fair sized model. They are connected but not
permanently, two internal clips separate them in a couple of seconds and the lighting is
common but they unplug from each other if needed. One 9 volt battery lights all 15 LEDs.

Bob,

This is indeed fabulous, I agree with the commentary, and wonder what the paper might be and what's the News of the Day!

Bravo Zulu!

Bob, From 'a blank brick wall' to a one-of-a-kind fantastic factory, when you get into a project you go at it tooth and nail, er, tooth-&-pick.
It's Terr-L-ific!!!

Thanks Pete and Bill for your comments.

Pete, you force me to give out my secret. I used that newspaper because it "looked good"
but it is slightly out of date. It's made out of one of my old home town newspapers and
it's dates Jun 22, 1943.
The headline reads "LEWIS SENDS MINERS BACK
TO PITS; COAL PRODUCTION FOR STEEL RESUMES".

I used the front page, the entertainment page, the comics page, and a clothing ad
page. (I have tons of old newspaper stuff)

Bob,

All the terrific detail looks so good through the window.

Everything is wonderful but the desk and chair enhance the interior a lot.

Bob,

It's all good! There was a lot happening in June, 1943, and having a paper there is a good idea.

Bravo!
