Your scenery and backdrop are excellent. The rock looks very much like weathered granite, very appropriate.

The town has a number of western buildings.

That looks nice. And by painting distant mountains beyond a ridge, you don't get involved with perspective issues.

Amazing rock work, the white highlights sure add to the overall effect. The backdrop mountains look right especially with the cloud cover.

Love the backdrop you've painted.

If I understand the power base system correctly, it is comparable to the magnets oh H.O. scale slot cars, where the magnet is used to aid traction pulling towards the embedded steel power strips.
