Morning All, coffee is ready and assorted fresh donuts on the counter.

Phillip, I'd hate to have to pickup that loco once those gears are installed.

Phillip, you should start a thread about your shays.

I wish I could find some close help to get things going.

Everyone have a great day.

Mark

Good Morning! Thanks for the coffee Mark! I might just do that. Their is another guy bombarding another thread concerning the MDC Shay. I may just break it down and show exactly what is involved. PIA! Pictures are worth a 1000 words.

Have a good day,

Good morning!
Looks like another cold day. Fire is stoked boys! Coffee is brewing mid-day.
Nothing like running some trains for the first time. Congrats Dave!

Have a great day!

Well the snow yesterday turned to rain and froze solid overnight. Only way out of this is sunshine.

Working on the Tweetsie boxcar and hopper drawings for customer kit requests.
And trying to stay warm.

Hi. We got about 10 inches of snow yesterday. This morning was so cold that when Mrs Hopeless went out to go to the gym she found her tires frozen in ice. We had to wait for the sun to heat the tires before it could be driven out. In spite of all this I did manage to get some modeling done.

Morning guys! Thanks for the coffee and bagels, Mark! Crazy thunder and lightning storm last night along with a deluge. Today is a bit drier but it looks as though there may be snowflakes in the forecast for the weekend.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Dave

Just had a Guiness Extra Stout to start the evening. The Boss decided that we would hve Rubens for dinner to get our corned beef fix -- fine with me.

Visited the vet today and certainty of osteo carcoma for our Golden Retriever is dramatically higher. We will keep him on pain meds and let him live as long as he wants/can.

Train progress has been zero -- horrible cold and eye infection last week and too cold to go out in the garage shop/RR room this week. Watched some good movies to fill the time.

Enjoy the rest of St Patrick's Day and NCAA tournament if you are so inclined.

It's 41f and cloudy here and supposed to get into the 50;s.

Bill, hope you get better and get back to the trains.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all!
Mark, thanks for the coffee.
Bill, get well and accept my sympathy for your retriever. Dogs live for the moment and as long as they are pain-free life can be good. I had the same issue with my 16-yr old Shepherd/Collie cross. It can be hard letting go.
Cheers,
Dave

Good morning!

Just about finished the shop for now.

More basketball today. My daughter just lost her boxer. You just never know.
