Good morning ...the fire is stoked and the coffee is brewing, grap grab a cup!

65 degrees today and 30's tonight. Not much going on today except work.

A 6 hour drive is dedicated!

Have a great day!

Must be a bunch of sleepyheads this morning! Thanks for the coffee, and to the rest of you WAKE UP! Have a good day. I am preparing for the "ice storm" we are supposed to have here tomorrow.

Thanks for putting coffee on Philip. -7 C here and Vancouver is getting ridiculed by the rest of Canada for whining about the "terrible winter" so far. Funny! Yeah, 6-hour drive for just the show would be dedicated but I don't know if worth it. Under normal circumstances it would be a weekend affair with my wife but because of the motorcycle trade show, there is a big wrench in that plan.
Cheers,
Dave

Good Morning the first Friday the 13th of 2017.

Coffee is on I promise its not poisoned

Glad you guys checked in. Mark and I are content preaching to an empty church for the most part. The hogs out back are huge... a sign of a bad cook I've read. lol

Two more days of work and I'll be off for my weekend ! Pouring down rain 36 high 38.

Getting ready to add the Geezer decal to the sign, got a couple coats of gloss dull coats on and then the decal followed by dull coat. Slow progress with the job and everything at home is falling apart.

What is a big wrench at the motorcycle trade show? You lost me.

Have a great day!
Philip

First, thanks for coffee! Still -7 C here, with promises of warming in the next few days.
The "wrench" in the motorcycle show was the fact that I would need to work Saturday, meaning we couldn't spend the weekend in Portland as I wouldn't be able to leave until after supper. HOWEVER, due to my inability to read a calendar, apparently, I have the dates wrong and the motorcycle show and train show are on different weekends. Now I just have to decide if I want to make the journey to Portland and take a day off work to do so. I'm back to, "is this train show worth the journey". It claims to be the "Great Train Show" which seems to make a presence at different places across the US.
Cheers,
Dave

I am back in Ocean View after an 11 day trip to our son's in Houston TX. Got in an evening pig hunt and a morning duck hunt. No pigs 5 ducks. Visited the Maine On30 WW&F that was in the Gazette - very inspiring. My WW&F equipment orders have rolled in so I can begin work.

Thanks for coffee, Philip. How long are you off for? Weekend? Holiday? Retired?
My weekend starts tomorrow - 2 days to make some progress on the layout. Have to bring in more implements of destruction to modify the sub-bed. Looking forward to being able to start laying track!
Cheers,
Dave

I'm retired Army but still working full time as a maintenance tech, so modeling is far, few, and in between...plus all the honey do list that keeps me in the bunker! Same here have a bunch of ME track and no plywood yet...so you win!

Philip...oh off 2 days....

Are you part of the Dave Clark 5 "Glad all over"?

Good morning. Whats all this talk about hot coffee and stoking fires? Folks around here are getting temps up around the 120 mark you folks are all stoking fires and drinking hot coffee!!!!!

We are 90 at 6am and I get all hot a sweaty just reading these posts.

So raise your glass of iced coffee and welcoming in another day by the pool. Too hot to model.
