I shot a few new photos of my annual "Patio of Terror". No trains involved but still fun. I added several new jack o'lanterns this year. I use artificial pumpkins so I can reuse them every year, also saves on having to carve a bunch at the last minute. A sample photo is attached. You can see the rest here:

Some of the pumpkins:

And here's one of the ghosts I made:

Enjoy!

A child asked his father, "How were people born?" So his father said, "Adam and Eve made babies, then their babies became adults and made babies, and so on." The child then went to his mother, asked her the same question and she told him, "We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now." The child ran back to his father and said, "You lied to me!" His father replied, "No, your mom was talking about her side of the family."

Two hunters got a pilot to fly them into the Canadian wilderness, where they managed to bag two big Bull Moose. As they were loading the plane to return, the pilot said the plane could take only the hunters, their gear and one Moose.

The hunters objected strongly saying, "Last year we shot two, and the pilot let us take them both...and he had exactly the same airplane as yours."
Reluctantly the pilot, not wanting to be outdone by another bush pilot, gave in and everything was loaded.
However, even under full power, the little plane couldn't handle the load and went down, crashing in the wooded wilderness.

Somehow, surrounded by the moose, clothing and sleeping bags, Zbyshek and Vladek survived the crash.
After climbing out of the wreckage, Zbyshek asked, "Any idea where we are?"

Vladek replied, "I think we're pretty close to where we crashed last year."

As you think, so will you be.

There was one year where we figured the only thing everyone could consume was water, and some were even suspicious of tap vs bottled water!

Two ropes walk into a bar, one rope calls the bartender and says "Barkeep, let me get a couple of beers."

The bartender says "I'm sorry, we don't serve ropes in here."

Frustrated, the ropes walk out and, since this was the only bar in town, they thought about it a little while when finally one rope says "I've got an idea!" So he gets himself into a bind and frizzles his ends and walks back into the bar and says "Barkeep, can I get a couple of beers?"

The barkeep says "Sure, but aren't you those same two ropes that came in here earlier?"

The rope answers "Nope, I'm a frayed knot."

As you think, so will you be.

Know the best way to trap a Polar Bear?

Firstly, you get a saw and cut a large round hole in the ice, down to water level..

Secondly, you then get some green peas and place them around the circumference of the hole..

Now, when the Polar Bear comes down to take a pea, you kick him in the ice-hole....

(I never said it was new, did I?)

And it turns out bottled water is tap water in a lot of cases.

The other day I bought a case of bottled water. Got home, label says 'A product of Canada'. What is the old adage, 'If you go to another country, don't drink the water'. Well, I guess, in this case,(no pun intended), its the other country coming to us. I don't know if the effect will be the same, have not tried it after I read the label.

Who knew.
