I'm interested in seeing how the hand operated switchstand goes.

Hi guys.

Long time no Hon3 Modelling for me but im back in a big way. I started a Hon3 time saver layout last weekend and have hand laid track for the first time (PC ties not hand spiked). Its a 1200mm x 400mm display based on a waterfront terminal of a logging line. Always wanted to do some waterfront structures so this is my chance.

Spent a little while working on some kits. I built two durango Press WSLC flat cars last week and now i need to build some box cars of some kind. 30' probably. Any ideas for kits i can use?

I hope to be able to share it with you all in a few days but for now i have to get back to work.

Hi guys,

New to this section of the forum. I've come over from the On30 section. Decided to stick with HOn3 & HOn30. So going to liquidate my small stock of On30 and O scale.

Some my have read the thread on the On30 section on my 4 axle critter build. After a 7 month absences I've made some changes and decided on a final direction with my modeling. So it'll be HO, HOn3 & HOn30 modeling.

Hopefully after this holiday weekend I'll be able to get together info and start a thread on the HOn30 limestone quarry railroad I've started on and perhaps even start a thread on an HOn3 coal mining operation I have plans to build, "someday"

I've been working on a British OO kit for Western Side Dump cars. This is a 'multi-media' kit. The frame is etched sheet metal, then cast white metal parts glued onto that folded frame, and a cast resin body:

You can (barely) see the etched end levers on this view:

It's oversize, but not too badly so, for HOn30.

That 4-6-0 looks really nice and will fit in well with my little collection of OO9 WWI stock! Thanks for posting, I hadn't heard of that model yet.

Dave, is that a W^D Models kit? It looks nice!

It looks fine with the Minitrains 0-4-0.
