Here are some favorites that I shared with some friends growing up in the 70's. What I remember most about these songs, are my friends funny interpretations of the titles of these songs. If you listen to them you can see why they thought this.
Electric Light Orchestra(ELO) "Evil women" ( I have a friend who thought this song was called Midieval Women) https://youtu.be/wh4E6jz9QJI
KC & The Sunshine Band "Keep it comin' Love"( One of my friends thought the title was, Keep it common law.) https://youtu.be/mABuS9eSWnQ
Five Years by David Bowie. First song I ever heard by him in 1972....It was cold and it rained so I felt like an actor....Somebody early on in the thread mentioned Janine by Bowie. Another great song. Way, way under the radar.
I just learned that John Bradbury, one of the founders and the drummer of the late 70's & 80's Ska band "The Specials" has passed away at the age of 62. I still love this style of music.
