Stone sour - Tired

Slight 80's rock tones in this, as always the incredible voice of Corey Taylor giving real "umph" to it.

TMBG are a couple of creative guys. Still working, too. The last big thing they had was the theme song to Malcom in the Middle. I remember the Istanbul song and some other one that got some radio play that sounds a lot like an old John Hartford tune. The cadence and quirky rhymes of TMBG remind me a lot of Hartfords stuff, not sure if they gleaned that from him or developed that themselves. Since my train of thought touched on John, I'll post one of my favs of his :

John Hartford "I Would Not Be Here"

P.S: I can't leave out The Category Stomp if I am going to mention quirky John Hartford rhymes:

Lots and lots of great stuff from everyone here, but conspicuously missing the really weird stuff that I love so much. Music that defies genre or simply makes no sense at all. Not for everyone, I'm sure...

One of My all time favourite records; The Boredoms "Super ć" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUSGujidgns

One of the most difficult 'outsider musicians' first record from 1978; Jandek "Ready for the House" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8mPu9RX_Pg

The Ruins (from Tokyo, Japan) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tO8pphbO_2g

The Dead C (from New Zealand, lo-fi drone "rock") : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgrEredBNg8

Kletka Red (traditional Klezmer music in Yiddish by an avant-garde scum-punk band) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6VaWvSkLKE

Otomo Yoshihide (DJ playing turntables) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teiua5kpVO4
Otomo Yoshihide & Yamantaka Eye (demented DJ/MC duo) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBEWnMVD5tg
Otomo Yoshihide (guitar solo) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-DXwxKlE2I

C. Spencer Yeh / Okkyung Lee / Lasse Marhaug - Wake Up Awesome : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djYbOn0lJEs

And some of my favourite guitarists:
Bill Orcutt : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SC6fO-_AYU
Olaf Rupp : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMZ8ounEGEk
Derek Bailey : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LgCqcmruGU
Fred Frith : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2WSeZZV6iQ
Hans Tammen : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP4noAW0MdQ
Tim Olive & #27611;#21033;#26690; : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOhfJNDI5qg
Kazuhisa Uchihashi : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHdHxK618nw
Marc Ribot : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py4sr8f-Us8
Noël Akchoté : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pvsg_GwlYM

Wow, great to see all the activity in this thread.
Thanks to everyone for their contributions.
Been real busy at home and haven't had time to listen to all the links posted, but I will eventually.

I saw Roger Daltrey in concert last night at the Kimmel Center in Philly.
This was from that show:

As you think, so will you be.

This song reminds me of my Dad,and it still makes me smile today.
He played this song for us when I was a wee lad.
