Ha. I think I could use a little dusting off. After 2 weeks on the cruise and then the wife's Mother passing I think I need a swift kick in the butt to get going again. Lots of things in my head, nothing on the workbench.

Hi All. Since Western Scale Models went out of the O scale business I have been trying to find one of their vertical steam engine kits. I wanted one as separate power for the edger I an trying to build. No luck so I'm trying to scratch one. The top is all brass tubing and rods with a Vector Cut wheel. The bottom is from a paintbrush handle. Pulley wheels from the scrap box. Still a way to go.

This is one half of the table with rollers.

Still have a long way to go. Have not figured out how I will make the edger yet.

That must be one heck of a scrap box you have, Roland.

Very crafty seeing the paint brush as a part to use and not a tool. you continue to amaze me with your detail parts.

Roland, Wiseman has a Vertical Steam Engine in O-Scale. I used one to power my HO shop.
