Actually Bill, things are looking better! Here I thought I was pretty good about keeping my inventory up to date, but over the past week, I finally got around to going through my shelves and going through some boxes, and found a lot of cars that I didn't know I had. So the needs are slimmed down a little, but I am still in the need for some mechanical reefers. Do you have any of those floating around you don't need?

Mark, Sorry, out of my era. Mechanical reefers came a couple of years after my 1952 cut off date. Ice reefers I have.

Back date to steam? Never! Sorry guys, steam looks beautiful out on the road, but nothings better than the idling of EMD's and Alco's at the engine house or roaring down the mainline.

As you should! It's taken nearly 40 years, but I knew one day you would realize I am right!

Wait... I've known you for 40 years???

Try It again. Hey Bruce, with these revelations maybe steam might have a chance in the future!

Well, they did still use ice reefers in '67 but they were on the way out. You could use a Reading T1 in the Reading Rambles at the time. Just picture this: A big 4-8-4 roaring across the railroad and rail fans galore track side.

Bill, the last thing these guys need here in encouragement.

On the other hand, after giving this some serious consideration, I have to admit it would be nice to see some steam running. So for those of you who feel strongly about this, I would entertain the idea of back dating. So I will gladly accept donations to fill the needed roster of steam equipment. Mountains, decapods, Pacifics, etc. will do nicely! Let's see, I need about 50 loco's to get things started. And needless to say, they must be sound equipped! So, who's first?
