Illustrating winters' icy grip on us locally:

Wish the wires weren't there, but you got to go with what you've got I guess!

Bob very nice pic. As you said shame about the power lines. Looks nice and cold though compared to our 40+ degree heat waves in Australia at the moment.

How I spent part of this morning:

Note the snow on the right, the drift was higher than the snowblower. Just another day in the snowbelt!

I wouldn't say that.

I didn't want to spend too much time on it, but it took less than 5 minutes to remove about 50% of the wires. I could make the cloning look better too if I spent more time on it, but I think this shows what can be done with Photoshop.

PS - Bob, if you don't like what I did, I'm more than happy to delete it.

Rick: No problem with removing the wires. I could have done it myself but there were more wires than I had interest in removing!

You could have cut the wires then taken the photo.

Nice ride.

I've had my head buried in photos for the last few days. I need to send off photos to be printed for an exhibition later in the year. Most of the show is of my black & white shots. So here's one from the Tacoma Union Station (Washington) and a couple of Chihuly pieces.

Even without the color you can see how cool his stuff is.

That is a very nice bit of Art, Rich. I am sure it will be a hit at the Exhibition.
