I am so sorry, I will be in California for my wife's family picnics. Unfortunately, her Dad (90) was just found on his floor dehydrated. We will be cleaning his home out while he goes to assisted living.
Just for one more thing, my dad (90) was taken to ER for being dehydrated, hw was out this morning in 100 degree heat trimming his bushes!!!!!! Argh!!!!!!!!!

I hope to just still be breathing at 90, let alone outside doing yard work!

Well besides yourself - - it's looking like it's the following people:

Rob Farrell (me)
RRRRider (Ken D)
Tom Reynolds

and if Joe Basara doesn't have to work - he'll be riding with me.

To the rest of you - please speak up if you're going.

Also - please ask your friends who are interested in railroading and history if they would be interested in attending.

I think our numbers will expand once we get things off the ground and start raising awareness for saving the Milltown Station.

Maybe we should contact Railpace and see if they could run a small blurb on the station and that we're looking for members/volunteers/money, etc..

I have an idea for fund raiser. Last trip to CA we brought back "Aqua Clips". Some of you have seen it with me. It's a right angle piece of plastic. One end fits around the top of a water bottle, the other end is flat and fits inside you belt. We have NEVER seen them anywhere else. I think we should order red ones with "Raritan River Rail Road" on them. Sell them at RR days, etc. with a bottle of ice cold water for $5. Make about $2 on each one. I will be glad to contact the company if y'all like the idea.
