Looks like you created a very believable scene. Terrific.

Wow, 6 months since I last posted? Over the winter I started bowling again and now that the weather has started warming up (finally ) I have also started playing golf again. I do need to get back on the layout and finish up the last 3 feet of scenery. I did have a train club meeting here last Sat. but we mostly just sat around talking.

Well another 7 months has gone bye-bye!

This area is next to Murphy Oil and is about 1/3rd of what's left to do:

I've been playing around with things I had on hand. The main street looking store fronts are from my 2 square foot challenge of years ago. It has suffered some damage in storage (mainly to the roof details) which will need to be fixed. The white building with the black roof is just taped together and still needs a few things like a foundation, windows, doors, signage and what have you.

Mike now that you're snowed in you can get back to the bench.

No snow here guys, just a little slush and that is already gone. 25 miles to my east however they got hammered.

For once I was glad to be in the snowy north. It looked likely to be a bad storm; good to hear all is well with you.

Also good to see photos showing modeling.

Mike

Thanks Mike! I rummaged thru my spare parts and found suitable windows and doors and something for a foundation. Now for a sunny day so I can do some spray painting.

Yep! Frank's modeling convinced me I was better off golfing than modeling!

Great to see Nantahala again! On what part of the layout will the store fronts be located?

Golfing? C'mon man! When are you going to install the ramp so those engines can 'Duke Boys' across that gap?
