It's very reminiscent of a building I saw in the mining town of Randsburg, California. It would fit right in a Western motif. Super job!

[quote]Nice looking tobacco shop, Martin. What's the remaining 1%?
Probably could stand a little light weathering to drop the sheen down, |

Something different from traction, rolling stock and MOW; and it turned out really nice. It looks like an actual store. I like the classic Victorian colors.

Thanks, Mike. I actually have built a lot of buildings over the years; very few have shown up here; many are in print.... I'm looking forward to delivering it to it's owner as he is unaware of its final form.

I spent a bit of time looking for a suitable tobacconist sign and finally found one that had the that aged engraved with gold leaf added look to it. After I resized that in Powerpoint to fit the space, I made an insert to overlay the other name, etc. in the same file and printed it out. That was cut out and glued to some 1/32" wood and framed up with some pre-painted angle around the edges. |

Posted - 03/21/2021 : 10:32:18 AM Inside - no, not me. I'll leave that to its next owner to customize once I get the signage installed and hopefully hand it off next month.
Makes 3 structures now to hand off to new owners....and only 1 of which has been seen here. |
