Posted - 09/14/2020 : 10:05:45 AM I'm scratchbuilding a small (lawyer's?) office based on this photograph.

The big challenge will be those center Ionic columns (with scroll ends on either side.

Posted - 09/24/2020 : 12:55:59 PM You can see bits of the interior, but it's hard to adjust the (phone) camera to get the lighting right.
There's a fair amount of light bleed through the styrene, but I don't think overall it's too offensive.

Posted - 09/23/2020 : 4:16:03 PM So with just a few tiny spots left to touch up I'd say this turned out really well for a 'trial & error' build :) The columns turned out well. |

Posted - 09/23/2020 : 3:20:18 PM I have some paint touch-up to do, but this is pretty much done.

The interior parts are Motrak Models chairs and tables, an old SS Ltd station bench, and a scratchbuilt Judge's Bench.
I'll try to take a photo of the lit interior later today or tomorrow.

Posted - 09/22/2020 : 11:02:14 AM Some progress on the roof. I found some old Precision Lasercraft (self-stick) shingles, light grey color.
They are pretty nice out of the bag, but I did some more drybrushing to lighten them a bit and highlight the edges

Then I cut the dormers, including a middle former/brace.
I continued the pattern of 'shiplap' on the front and clapboard on the back for the dormers. You can see where I nibbled out a hole in the middle former for the bracing I glued onto the (styrene) roof panels.
Finally, I started gluing on the roof panels.
I used tube glue to get good tack, and will let this side dry thoroughly before attaching the other roof panel. Then I'll add the eave trim.
