Posted - 03/06/2021 : 11:56:18 AM Jerry, It's too complicated. Everyone else told you how fantastic it is, and I don't want you to stop at that. It is a fantastic effort, keep going, well done!

Wow thank you all so very much for all the wonderful compliments. It is really appreciated.
Just to let yu know the belts are not Tyvek which I was going to use. There what came with the machines. I have no idea what Bill at Western Scale Model used. Some sort of a manila folder it seems like but very thin.
The coloring is Kiwi can shoe polish and alcohol. I just take a brush dab it in alcohol then the shoe polish rub it on and its dries within minutes. A nice leather color I thought.
Once again thank you all for following this build. |

Excellent work. The belts look just the right color.
I just realized that your mill is designed differently from many or most I’ve seen modeled, which were supplied with ore from a track at the top level. You have the hoist instead, a nice variation.

Posted - 03/05/2021 : 10:42:24 PM Just a picture to show the Ore Feeders in place below the chutes. After the Stamps are put in you can't see them anymore.
Plus you can see the 2 belts above that installed for the Rock Crusher.

Posted - 03/03/2021 : 8:38:18 PM Looks great Jerry. A nice detail would be wooden scaffolding running up part of the building with workers putting up more siding.
