Welcome to new lounge.
Bigger bar, new recliners and thought it would be nice to have a juke box.
To celebrate I opened up a bottle of Henry McKenna single barrel bottled in bond bourbon.
Fridge is stocked with a nice assortment of beers and there bottles of red and white out too.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for the coffee.

Tom, sounds like a wonderful weekend with family.

Headed downtown to fix the local Child Advocacy Centers trains. They have an o scale and G scale set. Last time it was a loose transformer wire. Wonder what it is now.

A good weekend to all,
Mike

Good morning from very beautifully looking So. Wisconsin, too bad the temperature with the wind chill is 31f degrees. Thanks Rick for opening, the diet sodas and allowing Jerry to do 2 breakfasts, one here and the Crew Lounge, both are good Jerry.

Dave, yes I am waiting, but too old to be crazy about it.

Family arrives for our family Easter weekend celebration. Niece from NYC, son from Austin, the brother from wherever he was yesterday, sister from the Chicago suburbs, daughter from down the road, friends from Central Wisconsin and local drop-ins. We always have fun and no politics are allowed.

Enjoy the day

Morning

Rick thanks for the coffee.
Have a safe day on the rails!

Pancakes with butter and Vermont maple syrup. Sides of bacon & sausage.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/64. Low 70's with rain later so say the "WEENIES"!

Some yard work before the rain gets here today. Then maybe some time in the train room...

Everyone have a great day!!

Good morning from the Lower Rainland, BC. Another soggy day ahead.
Tom, you must be looking forward to Avengers:Endgame. Marvel movies are father-daughter time for me and mine. Her University exams will be done so she won't have to worry about anything getting in the way.
This weekend will be busy with family visiting. My dad staying over for Saturday dinner and kids and plus-ones coming for brunch on Easter Sunday, following church. Good Friday services, of course. Got to work Saturday, as it isn't a holiday (always a drag going in for one day). Maybe have some time to get caught up on Monday.
Cheers,
Dave

Good morning from gloomy maybe wet to be So. Wisconsin. Thanks Rick for getting us going.

Movies, well a few years ago I would have agreed with you Rick about knowing what movies are what. Same with Dave, unless the movie tripped that trigger I wouldnít go. Right before retirement in 2014 our local theater chain made Tuesdays all day any movie or theater a $5.00 ticket and they created a free popcorn bag. We tried a couple Tuesdays and lik3d it but going to a movie to find out it was full was no fun. Now being retired, the same movie chain with the same deals makes a great time out for us. Also The Whole chain now has the reclining seat loungers, so it is an easy relaxing seat, ticket and seat choice online. I love Star Wars and Marvel movies, my wife goes along, same with me when she picks a Star Trek and real life movies she loves and I donít. IBut now with $5.00 Tuesdays it doesnít matter if a movie we pick isnít great, it didnít cost a lot, plus we make Tuesdays out date day, we both win. Enjoy your day.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Pepsi are ready to go.

Cloudy and gray with temps in the upper 70's.

I couldn't name a single movie (other than the ones posted here) that are currently playing.
If there is something worthwhile to see I'll here about through word of mouth.

Tom, thanks for you review.

Grocery shopping and meal prep this morning.
Another bike ride in the PM with a fire and cigar after.

Have a great day everyone.

Howdy folks,

Rick, thanks for opening. I'll pass on coffee this afternoon.

It is that time of year for storms, and tonight is supposed to be a bad one. I have a funeral to drive to early tomorrow morning, so I hope the storms pass. I no likey hail!

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning folks.
Thanks for coffee, Rick. It seems like a oatmeal kind of day (here anyway) so grab a bowl, some brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins, put your feet up by the fire and relax a bit.
Tom, I will not go to a movie unless it really grabs me. My wife always falls asleep and always after buying the $20 popcorn "deal". So it needs to be really good for me to subsidize a $30 nap.
Spent part of the evening yesterday applying my RR heraldry to some box cars and ore cars.
Cheers,
Dave

Good morning from soon to be noisy, wet and windy So. Wisconsin. We need the rain but not the T-storm. Thanks Rick for getting us moving.

The movie yesterday was Little, basically a female version of Big starring Tom Hanks years ago. These type of movies are not something I enjoy as they seem so cheesy and produced so often. Big, was very good and none that have followed have tripped my trigger. In this one a super Business Woman turns into a 13 year old. It was not terrible, had a couple of laughs and not too many groans. We do not do horror movies and there were 4 showing of the 10 movies, and other then the 1 we saw last week that is still there this IMO was the best to see. Dinner was out and also nothing really to recommend but we still had a good afternoon and early evening out. Terry is antsy from being cooped up and worrying about her mom. I am pushing her to fly back to Austin on Sunday with our son on my brotherís plane. Because I canít drive she feels she has to stay. Enjoy your day.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Pepsi are ready to go.

Some clouds and low 60's here today.

Glad that Diane is starting to feel better.

Tom, interested to hear about the movie you saw.

Mark, any amount of miles is better than none.
I wanted to do 20 yesterday but it was so windy I cut it short to 10.

Have a great day everyone.
TRAINS1941 Posted - 04/16/2019 : 11:59:10 AM
Rick thanks for the coffee!

Weather in South Jersey sunny/56. Mid 60's later...

Diane is on the mend slowly but surely!

Not sure if have anything planned today!!

Trying to get back to my Ore Feeders.

Everyone have a great day!!

Good morning from dreary damp So. Wisconsin where it will hit 60+ later. Rick, thanks for opening, Tigers win was awesome but I thought the announcers were too calm, NBC does a better job. Movie day today and the choices are crummy or worst. Terry said sheíll tell me in the car which crummy one we are seeing. She just wants out of the house today. The up and down weather has the feel of February without the white stuff. Winter blahs arriving late in our household. Surprisingly the Easter company arriving Thursday has not energized us. I failed the physical tests at the doctors office yesterday. Still no driving or flying till the next appointment in 2 weeks. I am fine but Terry is getting stir crazy. But life is good, enjoy your day.

Tom
