Bob, thought I would see if you had started. Wow, you really took off. Fantastic job. Looking forward to seeing it completed.

Nice hub caps, Bob.
They will add a lot to the wheels' appearance.
I tried to sharpen the photo a little. It didn't do much. I think the shot was taken a little too close for the camera to focus on the hubcaps rather than the scrap piece they are mounted on.

Thanks Dave, much appreciated.
I am in the process of cutting out all those wheel parts and I noticed something I have
not seen before. The wonderful Berkshire Valley Kit shows the ends of each axle with a
hub cap held in place with a square nut on a threaded rod down inside a hollow end of he
hub. I was able to reproduce this in 1/24 with bits of styrene but I am unable to take
a good photo of it. Here's my try. I see that one nut is not quite square, I'll have to remake that one.

Greg, Carl, Mike, and Greg R, thanks for your comments.
Here are the major wheel parts to cut from styrene sheet, the hubs must then be added.
And here are the harness shafts installed on the running gear.

I've been away for a while and just happened upon your thread. As always, I am not disappointed, wonderful job on the wagon.
You are one creative soul!

Pete and Bill, thanks for your comments. Yes, Bill, that looks more like it.
Here's the running gear ready for installation onto the cart. The next job will be making he wheels.

Looks good, Bob.
Here's a "bleached" version of one of your earlier photos to show the wagon is painted white, not khaki like I thought :).

Looking good, Bob! Well above my pay grade! Keep going!

Carl and Fred, thanks for your posts.
Here are the three main sections of the running gear, they still need the addition of the axles
and small detailing. They fit on the bottom of the wagon facing left, that circular item is the
fifth wheel and it fits into the hole in the second piece. The third piece goes under the
rear section of the wagon. It's hard to see but I have scribed layers into the sides of the springs
and they will have some styrene detailing added.
