Posted - 05/07/2019 : 10:08:14 PM Well, getting O scale crossing gates and lights to work well and sound good is no easy feat. Tim has been working on this project for about five months now and after numerous calls with manufacturer, a test mounting, and adding a new sound board to get the bell right, I think we finally have it. Posted - 04/02/2019 : 5:09:44 PM Frank, I hate to disagree with Dave, but that kit came from Stoney Creek Designs. South River only made HO kits!! |

Posted - 04/02/2019 : 12:56:11 PM Rick, you know Dave. You can't do anything simple with him. It's all out or nothing!
Message from Dave, for those of you interested in the Scrap Yard Building the kit was a South River Model Works kit. OUT OF BUSINESS |

Posted - 04/02/2019 : 10:18:34 AM Jim and Ted, we really appreciate the comments. It’s a collaboration of efforts between Dave, Jim, Tim and I. When you work with a “small” group you can bounce ideas off each other and things just seem to grow. |

Posted - 04/01/2019 : 8:06:16 PM Frank, Is it actually a kit, the right side does remind me of the original Thomas Yorke, pool hall somewhat. Those metal stairs should definitely be a kit'.. Jim, say's Awesome'..True, I say EPIC.. |

When people throw around the word 'awesome', they need to measure whatever they're describing against this. THIS IS AWESOME!

Posted - 04/01/2019 : 11:16:44 AM Thanks for the compliments. You’re in luck Rob, it is a kit! Dave will have to fill you in on the brand and particulars.
Mike, it looks pretty good. As always it could be better.

Thanks for the additional photos. I’d forgotten or overlooked some of the details. I’ll bet the scene is almost overwhelming in person.

Posted - 04/01/2019 : 04:30:28 AM What can one say, except brilliant modelling. You blokes certainly set the standard.
That overall scene is wonderful and so realistic. That structure would certainly make a nice kit. The scene with the train and car etc, is stunning.
Looking forward to many more pics. The plane should be nice addition.
