Your layout would make a wonderful museum display.

One persons loss is another persons gain. You lose a layout and we all get to see what you do next.

waiting, waiting, waiting. It'll be like Christmas waiting see what you do.

Troels, looks like you & your guests, had a great time!
I hope you find a buyer, and I look forward to seeing what will come from you in the future!
Best of luck with it all!

Had the first of two open house sundays today. About 120-130 or so visited, including a couple of forum members.
Great fun.
Also announced that the layout now is for sale, if necessary in pieces. I optimistically plan to begin a new layout next summer... yeahh right....

I have actuallu spent many hours in the shed these last few weeks!! The whole layout vaccumed, all tracks cleaned and conserved, all cars and locos have had the same treatment to their wheels. After drying, all have been test run today, and except for the rail bus gears slipping, all run well!!
Tidying and vacuuming the floor tomorrow
Open house the next two sundays...

Since I am not planning to visit Sweden soon, I sent my brother and his wife a few weeks ago instead :-). He was marveled by your layout (and paintings).

Beautiful work!! I wish I could make it over there, I'm not sure my car would hold up though.

For those in the vicinity of Southern Sweden:

I am arranging two sundays of open house showing the Coast Line RR. July 28th and august 4th, both days 12-16 (12 noon to 4 pm).

I'm now in the process of vacuuming, track and wheel cleaning, tidying and installing a few details. Two Forney's arent running properly yet, after nine years of neglect :)

If you have the opportunity you are most welcome at:

Thanks Kirk. I've dusted and polished mine but it doesn't stay shiny for long. I'll try your idea.

Not the slightest! I used some watery Liquitex stuff, and it dried quickly in the summer heat... Looks really good. I'll do the lighthouse area tonight.
