Posted - 06/13/2017 : 4:52:38 PM Dave, Ted, and Greg, thanks again.
Greg, you are right, I know it and it has been bothering me. Then I thought "forget it, if she wants to dress that way who am I to correct her??"

Posted - 06/13/2017 : 4:37:54 PM Bob, that came out looking really great, both inside & outside! Mr. Buxley's daughter's attire looks a bit out of place for the 1940's. No wonder she had a crowd of man gathered outside her Dad's shop windows.

Posted - 06/13/2017 : 4:34:02 PM WELL' I must say, Miss Buxley, certainly is a buxom young woman What's the old saying', there is a fox in the hen house, or in this case, the foxes are trying to get in the hen house'' Bob, I almost want to to back to 1:24 scale just for the figures'... |

I wondered about that.... I think "Sarge" is probably "mentoring" Beetle somewhere....

Posted - 06/11/2017 : 1:40:08 PM At first I thought that fellow was puzzling over which book to buy but now I think he's trying to decide which line to use on Miss Buxley. If he has to think that hard he doesn't stand a chance.
Great scene.

Posted - 06/11/2017 : 09:54:26 AM It's almost time for Buxley's to open and look at that crowd waiting to enter. Strangely. that has been happening every weekend for a while now. Let's get a closer look....

AH, I see what's going on, let's look inside

That's Miss Buxley, Old Man Buxley's daughter. She works as a secretary for General Halftrack out at Camp Swampy and helps out at the book shop on weekends.
